@Demo-Hell Yay! With this revelation, you can fade back into to the shadows, Demo(n).
Converse with fellow players
@Miraglyth It was just an unrealistic example for someone who said something stupid. I guess you filled in for them.
Regardless, if most of JP players can work together to make sega pull their head out of their asses, then good for them. Getting a minority of a minority from the global playerbase to do that won't move anyone. Expecting any kind of cohesion from global is unrealistic.
I'll just do what i've been doing until something more enticing comes along. Maybe it'll get better, maybe it won't, but i'm still going to play as long as the game continues to entertain me. If sega can't see beyond their paychecks, then too bad. I'm not going to delude myself with "making the game better", especially when we consider how sega wilfully does the same mistakes over and over, which should make one wonder if they consider them mistakes in the first place. At this point, it's not about listening, it's about going through the motions, just like they've always done. I guess it works for them, more or less.
They're not going to just sell the thing to you since the scummy gatcha makes more money. "More people would buy it" is irrelevant, since it's not 100% fact. Whales buying the thing outright making less money than whales wasting hundreds on RNG is 100% fact though.
I'd rather they add new enemies since new enemies require you to learn some new patterns, instead of just pumping the old bosses full of health and damage. Also, these horrible raid mechanincs shouldn't exist, so please, don't encourage them. If you want to get one-shotted while you have ample time ponder the meaning of life as you whale on that bullet sponge that has no phases for so long you get bored, so bored you'll start bored when you're fighting it the next time, go fight gigantix.
@Demo-Hell Oh yeah, it's you. So, about 5 months. I'd explain why it's not that simple, but we've been over that already.
I guess the forum turning read only in about 3 months means it's time for a last hurrah while you ignore everything people tell you.
@n_n Yeah, so, if people boycott the game by NOT buying things from it, the free to play players playing it mean fuck all. Even if they'd somehow get 10 times more player out of nowhere overnight, it doesn't mean shit if nobody spends money on their game.
The best and only way to put the fear into a company is to cut into their bottom line, and that is the only thing that'll make them remember that the playerbase isn't just there so they can milk money out of it without any effort.
Total tailed animals/characters discrimination! There are ears but no tail! How can there be a character with ears but no tail ?! Discrimination!)))) SEGA, THIS IS BAD! We must complain to (SPTC) the Society for the Protection of Tailed Characters! )_))))))))
What's with all the drama queens. This is a joke, right?
Yup, agreed. Unfortunately a lot of upset people are still addicted to the login/daily rewards and predatory FOMO nonsense that SEGA has infected this game with.
Can't buy cosmetics without meseta. Where do you think those cosmetics enter the player shop from?
Just boycotting the AC shop/premium is not enough; many don't seem to understand that an active f2p player base is content in and of itself, which is very beneficial to SEGA.
Free to play players are worth less than nothing unless someone buys their AC. "Boycotting" their sales is more than enough, since player numbers without profit does not keep a game as a service game afloat.
But i am curious how you think they are beneficial to sega if sega can't sell anything to anyone.
I bought one tail some time during PSO2. I think it was the dragon tail. Watching it lifelessly flop around was disappointing, to say the least. For me, there's no point in using something like that. If they upgrade them while they're at it, then yeah, but otherwise it's wasted effort, although i'm sure someone could live with it.
Most higher-ups are known for being out of touch with criticism, and very prideful.
I fixed that for you. Delusions of grandeur is a hell of a drug.
Personally i don't see anything fun in getting one-shotted out of spite by a designer of a level just because you completed their horrible map (Mario Maker says "Haha! Better luck next time, chump!"). I'd prefer what Neverwinter had, where the main point was to write a story rather than prove that you can make the most "difficult" map. Still, considering the anime nature of the game, i'm sure the stories would be predictable and stupid.
