In block 1/2 usually at least a few triggers are running on ship 1 at any given time. I've never had a hard time finding a cradle trigger to run. Cradle is bringing in far more raw meseta to the game then Inferno ever will. (I have no idea about Drawn to Darkness, it seems to produce far less ex-cubes then cradle)

The units might not be tradable, but the affixes can be used to craft other affixes, or be transferred over to tradable units(with the exception of Glare catalyst, which can't be transferred over.)

I still honestly believe the appeal to cradle though is by far the +4mil (Sometimes 12mil) meseta per run, although I have no doubt that boost week made cradle way more popular (although I feel it's not going to lose traction.)

My main hate towards cradle is the fact that it's sucking in the entire playerbase because no one wants to run other content. Why TPD? I've done more runs then I can count and I've gotten 1 unit total.. OR .. I can run cradle, get meseta, and buy the parts for the units. No luck, no bullcrap, just time for upgrades. Even when I first tried Inferno I was like "Cradle drops SDB, so even though this quest drops SDB, this is just a worse cradle."

In all honesty, if they removed the PSE bursts, it would probably even out with other content. I like that Cradle offers end game affixes easier, because it means more people can get upgrades without getting frustrated, but that's not what it is, it offers everything, and no other content matters anymore (Except for medals in NA for some reason.) So now PSO2 is "Get to 85/85, then spam cradle. F everything else."

Even with Inferno, if it is better then cradle (I don't believe it is), it's limited. Cradle has triggers going 24/7, and is a constant pump of meseta.

It's not even 9am, and cradle still has trains going..

IF Cradle was limited, this wouldn't be an issue, it's clearly not.

Blame SEGA and their overuse of Primordial Darkness lately. When the opportunity to do something else that is way more worthwhile rose up we took it and I would appreciate if they would stop nerfing Cradle since especially in the JP server there is no more free shop pass and I am not going to rip my hair out spending a week doing weeklies on 26 different characters to even get a somewhat workable income. Yes the market has issues but most of those issues stem from the age on the JP server as for the Global server the issues started even before Cradle with me looking at stuff I wanted for example the Arkuma Charm Base was over 40 million last I checked which I cannot afford on Global without the Cradle of Darkness UQ being there. I don't see why people are even complaining about this don't you want more meseta?

FUN is not a returning currency in NGS to my knowledge and there is another PROLOGUE stream on the way in 9 days from now so we should have answers soon.

They could just remove the 13* weapon drops. That would drastically cut the gold coming in without ruining the affixes/normal meseta income. The 13* weps from there never really have any good affixes/slots on them. They're mostly just there as filler/excube fodder.

That would invalidate some of the entire reason of running the UQ in the first place besides the 13* units and 14* weapons. I reckon things should just stay as they are it is not hurting anyone for example thanks to Cradle and the Excubes it gives I was able to affix all my gear in JP and have a bit left over for whatever which is a goal I would have never achieved without it unless I whaled on the game and sold the same Emote 5-6 times over which still wouldn't have covered the costs.

No changes would be better since the inflation exists already and limiting or nerfing something is completely unfair to do. Lets compare this to normal Elder which in my opinion should have never been nerfed since the gains were little and required effort to even amass a fortune out of it and now back to Cradle which is an Ultra Hard quest and would require friends to run it since you won't have enough DPS to kill the bosses in time solo causing failed E trials and lets not forget the PSE burst which also requires friends since doing it solo is 99% impossible. I have seen the Global market and most stuff I want already costs 40-100 million a piece so Cradle can help with that. Last point is PSO2 is near the end of its content delivery so this is the right way to send it off.

How will this affect our new players?

You can tell new players “cheer up, one day when you’re max level and with good gear then you too will be able to afford 100m for an outfit” while they’re in their starter clothes but that isn’t motivating at all when you’re like level 5. When we were new we could skimp and save for our first outfit for maybe 7m tops back then, how would we feel in their shoes with the source of the meseta needed to buy an outfit gated behind endgame content?

I haven’t seen crazy spikes in prices yet for anything I wanted to buy so I can’t comment on how bad this has gotten or maybe just not at all!

But in a worst case scenario where it is affected that much, then yes I would call for a nerf because I’ve seen the disaster something like this can bring. Time will tell, right?

This wouldn't really affect NGS since NGS uses N meseta and a new player market separate from base PSO2. The only effect this really has on NGS is the Oracle Renewed collection scratches.

I really don't see a reason to nerf the quest or the ways to get it in any way since inflation is already an issue and this is a good way to allow new players down the line to catch up if they have friends. Also NGS is coming soon so PSO2 is on its last legs in terms of content with little missing from the Global version to gain parity of the JP version of the game. Allow people to make meseta since it will benefit the numbers of players and prevent them from buying from the RMT Bots.
