RE: Bots are pretty active today.

@Mattwo7 said in Bots are pretty active today.:

That's assuming they're not actually for the same scammers using different domain name

I think is the same owner, no idea why they using diferent site names now, unless they are preparing to counter actions against their first site name, or perhaps they are innovating with new scam models, we hav the best GoldSellers not just some average one lol but im just speculating for fun now 😜

RE: Bots are pretty active today.

The word about the lack of GMs is spreading lol

GreatReputation.jpg

No longer we hav just one real money trade site spamming, nope, now we hav 2, we are in the way to become legends among gold selling parasites 😜

Censoring words used by spam bots is a common practice among GMs in other games, they censor for example "FarmersIncorporateddotcom" and not only that, after a certain number of that censored word being spammed the bot gets auto muted/banned, i saw this with my own eyes, but not here, nope, apparently here bots deserve a chance to spread their message =P

Also those wo defent RMT cuz "nEeDs MoNeYz" tend to forget that the more external money gets injected into the game economy, the worse the marked runs, with prices rising more and more for every idiot saying things like "wOoOoO i GoT cHeAp MoNeYz FrOm ThAt SiTe iM EdGyEsT tHaN OtHeR pLaYeRs"

At this point im going to just enjoy the spectacle for the lulz but sure af no more money from me into what looks like a unattended online game, i had enuz of that mess with DNEU wose Publisers and GMs, oh sorry not GMs i mean community managers lol, where more interested on introducing all sorts of monetization schemes than to actualy fix or mitigate any of the EU version problems...

RE: Bots are pretty active today.

RMT cant be fully stopped but it can be greatly mitigated and i hav seen GMs having some success in that regard but thats mostly in subscription based games, apparently the money of customers in free to play games is not worth the same level of dedication and yes i know this is not exclusive to PSO2 but that dnst make it any better, in fact seeing PSO getting the same BS treatment as some low quality game publised by nexon or aeria makes it worse for me...

@ZorokiHanuke I agree with u Zoro GMs cant just give up and @Kapnobatai86 they hav nothing to do with the development of nProtect which is, if im not mistaken, mostly a barrier against scrypt kiddies using Auto task and cheat engines so i doubt theres something being cooked.

RE: Has everyone quit the game yet?

Even having a lot of complains about how this version is managed im still staying here in NA, unfortunately more than half the guild im part of already left the game =( ; the game perse is still enjoyable to me in fact i love its gameplay, perhaps a bit too easy but from what i read in other forum JP is as easy if not more in its current state.

Zizel love that meme choice u made in ur reply to RainGnyu lol

RE: SG cosmetic "sales" and the current state of SG.

@Reaper-cet Let imagine ur right and subscription model died cuz of "gamers being cheapos", (lol hard but lets try) it had nothing to do with companis making more money with monetization schemes like loot boxes and, at the same time, not having to worry about the quality of the customer service cuz free right? is only cuz gamers are a bunch of cheapos right? lol

Some ppl defend even the most shitties of mobile monetization models cuz "iS FrEe To PlAy", by the way thats another reason of why Freemium model is so popular nowadays, the sheep defending it and now that i think of it i hope PSO3 not gonna be a mobile game lol

@DeanLutz72 said in Bots are pretty active today.:

Who really spends $1 for one million meseta anyway?

I made myself that question but then i remember the spend habits of ppl on mobile games market lol

@Anarchy-Marine said in Bots are pretty active today.:

I'm sure the people running the bots think that the SG rewards are tradable, and thus worth the currency to players. They don't actually play the game, so they have no idea.

The increase in activity of the bots in my ship was previous to current SG so i think is more related to the fact that they act unchallenged by GMs; first there were only a bot or 2 jumping blocks in main lobby, then they added a bot jumping shoping plaza and finaly permanent bots to most popular blocks.

PS Just in case some genius comes saying "GMs cant go and sue GoldSellers blah blah" (yeah that happened to me) i mean INGAME when i say they act unchallenged by GMs

RE: Questions about "minor issue"

The annoying thing is this, mixed with other problems we all aware of, is a symptom of a bigger problem, is not just the fact that i hav to block some bot but well at least the missions gameplay is unaffected.

RE: Questions about "minor issue"

@Vashzaron Yes i agree, at the begining they only jumped from block to block in main lobby but now they everywhere at all times.

RE: Questions about "minor issue"

After being reported by me and others still there

I know for sure in other games GMs block gold selling sites as part of their work, i hav no questions about it. My doubts right now are only about PSO2NA.

Questions about "minor issue"

Just recently a selling spam bot with PS****dotcom in his name (not a good symptom) was soo annoying in block 2 of my ship ppl even gradualy stoped talking in general chat and it ended full of spam shit... So, looking at how this is out of control now, i hav some questions mostly out of curiosity:

How hard is to block the site name? In other games blocking certain words and silencing bots is common, here looks like not even trying since they are not forced to use something like "P-S-O-2-****", they freely use their site name in chat since this started and is not a common word imposible to censor, so why are they still allowed to use it?

And following this, i cant help myself from thinking this is one of those cases were GMs hav no real ingame tools. Are the GMs here just comunity managers with no power to change anything ingame (thats the case in some free-to-play western releases)? Are they SEGA or Microsoft employees?

PS i know this a hybrid freemium game and some "garbage" is to be spected but common... thers a lot of things messed in PSO2NA not just the spam, havent seen this level of BS since DNEU disaster... plus i cant help being curious.
