Had this happen to me for the last few days in a row
PSO2 (of course), Star Citizen, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and (occasionally) Black Desert Online.
Also having this issue; Ryzen 2600 and a GTX1660Ti. I suspect it's because of the sheer amount of people on. From what I heard being discussed on the PSO World forums, the block capacity is estimated at about 150 users plus an additional 50 premium users. With 90 blocks per server, that equates to an average capacity of around 18,000 users per server. Three of these are active, so at this moment in time there are between 45,000 to 55,000 users playing on day one.
this is more players than usually play on Warthunder (daily population ~30,000 users), a far more recognizable lobby based game with international servers. I do hope that the community continues to grow, though.

Got more AC today thanks to the PC launch. Not particularly interested in the Hatsune Miku collaboration, but I'm genuinely surprised that it actually happened. Hopefully this means that more anime and outside creator collaborations are on the way.
Will we get the Es stuff or is that not happening since its not in the States in any form that i know of.
Es?

@Vicodin-Villian Tower of God is really good so far, following this new anime as well. The 'rough' art style won me over quite quickly within the first episode, I thought for sure that it would take at least a couple of episodes to accommodate to it. Ultimately even appreciating they went for it, it has an unique charm. And not to forget that soundtrack! I can't do it justice with words, so for anyone interested:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC5aJlvA3Qw
Listen to the instrumental played between 0:00-0:51 and the Upbeat Lo-Fi melody between 1:15-2:10
(1:15-2:10 gave me Afro Samurai, Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop vibes.)
There are some funny references to other anime, like a person that looks like Roronoa Zoro from One Piece. And references to real life persons as well. As 'Khun Aguero Agnis' is named after the Argentinian soccer player 'Sergio "Kun" Agüero'. The creators probably love the sport.
Tower of God is definitely one of the best out there. The original source material is also in english (surprise!) and both the dialogue and the arcs are essentially exact replicas of the comic. They even got the art style down, too.
Personally though, Sing "Yesterday" for me is more my speed at this time, and I'm also watching Re:Creators for the upteenth time. Every time I get bored of it I find another youtube review praising it, and my understanding of what the writers and talent behind that anime were trying to accomplish, as well as my appreciation of it, grows a little more.
As far as this season goes:
Gleipnir, Sing "yesterday" for me, "Wave, listen to me!", Tower of God.
@ToyWarsKen said in I think this game is going to fail by the end of the year.:
@Lord-Papers Yup. I think it's a pride issue or something.
The pride and collective ego of the board of SEGA JP was directly responsible for the crash of their console division and said division being seal-clubbed by Sony after 1995/6 when the PS1 released. A system which, by the way, was originally supposed to have been developed as a collaboration between SEGA and Sony, but which SEGA cancelled on because SEGA of Japan deemed it a "waste of money."
So SEGA's arrogance would not surprise me as a factor. For more on what happened, see Blake Harris' console wars.
@John-Paul-RAGE said in To All the "It's Just a Beta!" People...:
wouldn't be a bad idea since their translations belong to SEGA due to the intellectual property laws.
They could use it, seeing that as far as we know, SEGA JP is the one developing the content for NA. And if they hold the copyright to the translation, then it wouldn't technically be plagiarism.
@Mattwo7 said in To All the "It's Just a Beta!" People...:
Why? The translation is such a slapdash rushjob already and they probably already have all the text and voices prepared anyway...
Well, why not? If they don't have the text and voices prepared, then most of what needs to be done is a few adjustments and quality control. Speaking of quality control, I find that true quality assurance, particularly for scripts and text, is getting less and less common. Grammatical and spelling errors often pop up in official translations these days.
@ToyWarsKen said in To All the "It's Just a Beta!" People...:
@Lord-Papers TBH I haven't played in over a decade. Actually getting close to 2 decades. I had fun when I played. Unfortunately I started playing with people who I guess felt I didn't fit the norm of a tabletop games player. And haven't played since that experience. I do have some very old Codex and Catalogs. I always sucked at painting lol.
I will always be an Orky Boy for life. I never used any Army but them. I used to get my butt kicked a lot, but I never cared cause I always had fun.
The problem with Warhammer/Warhammer 40k is that the actual collectibles were expensive in the 1990s, and they're even more expensive now. Which is why the games are so incredibly convenient, but the universe itself has also gotten a bit tired, seeing as it's basically the dark ages in space!
@redPG said in To All the "It's Just a Beta!" People...:
I wish people would stop saying this.
They said a "major update is coming this fall instead of episode 7"
How does that mean there are no more episodes?
@NezumiiXD said in [To All the "It's ... and Parity with japan? lol thats cute considering JP has already said there will be no further episodes for the game...
Unless they intend to plagiarize the work of the english community translation team which produced the translation for the Japanese servers, there's no way that they'll be able to catch up with the JP servers before the end of the year. If they do, I'll be very surprised.
