ADD THE NETHERLANDS ALREADY! Every country around us has it! EVEN LUXEMBOURG!!!!!!

Screw the lootbox ban - it doesn't apply if the items aren't transferable. The game would not get banned, it's lies spread by people who have no idea what they're talking about.

Also, if it was so highly illegal, then why does the Windows Store version work along with microtransactions? Oh yeah, because it's all a load of conjecture.

@mazebXB I still got the error long after changing those settings, which can mean one of two things:

  1. This setting doesn't fix it. OR
  2. It doesn't take effect/notice the change until you re-add that oxyna thing to the permissions/privacy settings mentioned above.

My money's on the latter. Hope that helps someone.

@Shirokami07 The Windows user GUI is severely limited in what it can do compared to PowerShell and even the basic cmd. That's why learning PowerShell is a solid must for every administrator.

@cecoates (Edit: I overlooked it) It is indeed in there https://account.live.com/consent/Manage?fn=email , so I tried removing it.

Can't test it yet as I uninstalled it yesterday out of sheer frustration. This is the third error preventing me from accessing the game. I sincerely hope the developers intend to do something about this because it's insane how many problems there are just from looking at this forum.

How do I fix this? I've tried changing every setting I could find. If only the billion-dollar company that is Microsoft would be so kind as to add a button, a little tiny weeny wittle wutton, I could click to go to the specific settings they want me to change.

But no, that would be intuitive. Microsoft doesn't do intuitive.

I found a fix that worked for me:

  1. Open PowerShell
  2. Copy this and press enter: cd "C:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\pso2_bin"
  3. note: change "C" for "D" or the disk where you installed the game
  4. Copy this and press enter: Get-Acl pso2launcher.exe | Set-Acl pso2.exe
  5. Copy this and press enter: Get-Acl edition.txt | Set-Acl otp_notice_na.rtf
