Hello everyone! Thank you for letting us know how you feel about this. In your opinion, if you were to assign certain "categories" of items a higher value, what would they be? Wings, or Horns, for example? A general ranking of accessory importance, or layering wear importance, might help the team. Thank you!
While it is technically an issue of "category value", that's a bit of an overgeneralized view. Different players will think that "highly potent" cosmetics should be super rare and expensive and others think that they should be very cheap and obtainable. The main issue in this case, in my opinion, is that one of the items that's being sold for a very high price, the Aeros face, is a colossal outlier, and cant even begin to be compared to the rest of the items.
The Aeros face completely blows everything else out of the water. I explained why this is the case in my first post on this topic. The most relevant part, however, is that the Aeros face is the only true fix for what many people see as a fundamental flaw with F CASTs. With the way it works, it almost feels like it should have been an item that's available by default for free. I'm not saying it should be that - it certainly shouldn't, at this point - but when something in the game creates that feeling, it also certainly shouldn't be hardlocked behind an 80 scratch bonus.
In my opinion, almost everything about how Aeros is being treated right now is wrong: It's untradeable, its value is unbelievably high, you can only get one, it's only available for a limited time, and the worst of all, it is all of that despite being a cosmetic that is limited to F CASTs. For an item that creates a feeling as if it's a fix for a flaw in the game, I think it should at least be available reliably and/or often, and not for outrageous prices like 80 scratches. It should have been a 40 scratch reward at most.
Hard agree with all of this, however, I will add that I have poked around in PSO2JP since their latest update, and all gender/race locks on current outfits/head parts/hairstyles/faces have been removed there. Female casts are able to use male cast heads alongside female parts, and vice versa (though you still can't mix and match body/arm/leg parts, those still have to be all one or the other.)
If anything, though, that only makes Aeros even more desirable... If people can use it with their male characters too, it really shouldn't be treated in the way that it is- it definitely needs to be more accessible.
