@Drakaina 5-10 minutes of being afk in a combat zone sounds fair till they time you out.
Converse with fellow players
@Drakaina I’m only asking this for combat zones if possible because as the name implies it’s a combat zone. People just AFKing in a zone meant strictly for combat isn’t ideal when they take one of the limited 8 spots compared to an explanation zone that has 32 spots for that instance and do nothing but stand there accumulating meseta/ drops.
Exploration I don’t mind people AFKing as your not just pulling in rewards for existing at the extent combat zones do and people are at least waiting for a gigantic to play. The difference these other players only comeback to revive themselves or move to the next PSE burst spot and continue to afk again and have 0 intention to really play the game.
If they can’t time out players next best thing would be to cancel reward drops no matter how close you are unless you do some sort of damage/killing enemies or at least give it a 30 seconds- a minute cooldown until you get absolutely nothing.
I been just casually farming in Vanford Lab for up to 1-3 hours each day and have for the last 3 days ran into people AFKing in certain parts of the vanford area to get rewards for just standing there. In 3 days I run into 3-5 everyday of different people and it’s for hours on end seeing the same names just AFKing and slightly moving spots or reviving themselves to go back 10-30 minutes after death repeating the loop. Even some of these afk players only move when a PSE burst is happening so they could leech free drops. It’s generally annoying knowing a freeloader is taking up 1/8 spaces and sometimes it’s more than one in an instance like how I got 3/8 just today in vanford lab. Giving most instances are low population I’m put in the position to try ignoring them knowing they are not of any sort of help and freeloaders off the fact they can earn meseta by standing in the area and it auto picks up into their inventories for them or I’m 1-2 person farming PSE burst. Best I can do is report and hope it gets dealt with soon enough. So far only seen this in vanford lab but wouldn’t doubt it if it was at each combat zone. If people could get timed out or something for AFKing in combat zones that be great or find another solution so we don’t further mass inflate the already mass inflated player shop because of afk players
@Drakaina I did the adjustment and it’s weird for some reason 4K large doesn’t work. After a bit of messing around with it by seeing if small changed anything which it didn’t, I decided to just go from highest to lowest and 4K middle works. Greatly appreciate the help
I logged into base PSO2 for the first time since NGS and it wasn’t pleasant because everything was significantly smaller compared to before the engine overhaul and it’s now hard to see when your not sitting right in front of your tv (at least for me.) Especially when your trying to go through all your menus. I would really like if I can readjust my HUD because trying to do anything in base PSO2 is so hard to see and I’m not trying to sit right in front of my tv to do anything at least in base PSO2. If there is any kind of HUD adjustment it isn’t on Xbox. Screen readjust pretty much does nothing as well but gives me the option to make it smaller by adjusting screen to fit my full screen. I don’t understand why it’s way smaller in base PSO2 but seems alright in NGS. Unable to show pictures of proof because I can’t lower file lower than 2048 KB but anyone who has put a fair number of time into base PSO2 could see the difference.
I have already put 200 hours of gameplay into NGS alone at the time of typing this and in all that time I only gotten 1 4* Fixia ability as they got an insanely low drop chance on a 4* from what I experienced. I was thinking of if we could use those other Fixia abilities we got on other obsolete gear to have a chance to transfer the Fixia to your main gear. It being like enhancing by being able to select up to 5 others of same type and level to increase your odds of transferring. I was thinking 16% per item seems fair because 16 X 5= 80% and you can use an affix boost. Plus it’ll give insurance items when they are added down the line a further use to potentially min-max to the fullest without too much risk similar to base PSO2 going for that god affix set with all the endgame affixes. I don’t expect to get 100% transfers and that’ll make that 15% affix boost in central city at the trader seem way more worth getting for using 20 AC/ SG recycle badges. It’ll also add to are gears progress without relying on pure RNG or dropping a possible fortune on the market for a slightly or greater weapon DPS/ utility. Kind of like how SSA worked in base PSO2 but you can only have one per gear piece. Most people who get a Fixia on gear will probably trash it because it’s worse than what they got already since 4* weapons and units are pretty cheap on the market already. It’ll make the players time feel more worth while if you can make progress and not hit a brick wall after easily getting access to 4* gear from player shop for cheap and this gives you something to work towards while out in the field farming experience, meseta, and gear. This is just what I was thinking if anyone can add on to this go ahead to flesh it out further if possible.
Not sure if anyone has posted anything about this but sometimes when you use whispers chat to talk to a friend in another instance it runs the chance of locking you into only that chat. I thought it was the crazy lag at launch but I gotten it a few times over the 3 weeks and a few friends also got it on both Xbox and PC. It could be fixed by logging out to the main menu or if you got a keyboard and use Alt + arrow keys to bypass the chat being locked. Unavailable on Xbox since you can’t scroll up and click chats to change chats or try using the D-pad to change like you usually can. If you don’t have a keyboard you are forced to constantly logout to use any of the other chats. I only had this issue with whispers chat and it being a gamble if it locks or not on use.
I been playing this game since it released in closed beta test for global on the Xbox one and with some trigs that were given to us for free such as tower defense 3: despair that I have never been able to use because literally no one wanted to run it.
In chapter 5 or so we got the ability to purchase triggers with Rising Weapon Badges and thought why can’t we trade them back for RWB if we don’t want the trigger or plans don’t go according to plan with your group.
Could we get an option to trade the trigs at the swap shop for rising badges or the RWB counter like how you gave the option for elder when boomer blasting was a thing (was an option for elder a while back but gone now in the swap shop) for trigs that are obsolete or so unpopular no one wants to run them?
Or just let us trade all the trigs for badges of there chapter relevance if we just don’t want them since most we can’t sell or get a group together for most of the older content triggers such as the crimson dragon as an example.
Can agree with that, I was hoping with the TPD update we would get it because I have a lot of time to play this game and have stacked up 114 13* units from the lament trigs at this current time all they do is take space. I’m not just trashing or selling to a NPC vendor which is so wasteful. Please add this already no reason not to add this feature at this point
I’m constantly getting 630’d today, I can’t do anything as soon as I load in I disconnect or I disconnect partway through loading in. I done everything I could to try resolving my issue by closing game and reopening it 15+ times, hard resetting Xbox one multiple times, resetting modem, checking to see if I have package loss which is at 7% tops. I have spent 3 hours now trying to get into the game to do my dailies but no luck whatsoever. I had minor issues of disconnecting in the past through out the whole year of PSO2 but this is the first where I’m completely unable to play. I’m on ship 1 if that helps
