And in the end it solves nothing as players will just seek out the next easy to farm meseta method.

Picked up a couple cheap camos. Rather disapointed in this first one since nothing changes despite it being a multi camo.
Weapon Camo: Aqua Planet
Weapon Type: Double Saber/Partisan/Rod/Wand
Unfourtantly it's the same exact weapon and pose for Partisan/Rod/Wand with the only differance being where you hold the weapon in attack animations or tech charging like the Rod version as shown
Weapon Camo: Igniting Flare
Weapon Type: Double Saber/Launcher
I think I'm more annoyed by the dbz power levels of stupidity in the story rather than in game having some challenge. At least upgrading your gear and some practice can get you past Masq . No amount of gear or stats will ever beat the writing.
I don't think the game is dying but people do lose interest. Gotta remember even with our rushed catch up of 8 years in 10 months there isn't a lot to do in game. It's all very samey and grindy. And what isn't grindy (getting setup for Atlas EX) can be compeleted in a few weeks at a casual pace. Also consider we just had end of Oct game releases hit and there's new stuff coming out mid and late Nov that people are going to be hyped for. There's simply a lot of games to choose from and as others have said, everyone tends to play multiple games and take breaks. We'll see another population spike when epi 6 hits most likely. Though that might be delayed due other big launches getting pushed into Dec.
Far as I can see in game there is no ARKs quest that spawns supernaturals. Checked both ARKS Nightfall maps and neither have supernaturlas in the maps or in the enemy log. Kill 100 in a single room sounds like the Rush Pratice Time attack quests. Checking those is the same thing. No supernaturals, just falspawn and nightfallers.
Final tally for that ARKS leage was first place 5848 and second place 979. I can understand getting those numbers if you can spam a single room over like that. I don't understand how those were supernaturals when nothing anywhere in game shows they are in ARKS quests or a time attack map.
I like the idea behind the ARKS league but those kill X mob versions are just painful. There's so many ways to fall behind if RNG says screw you. The one I stumbled into I watched 3 people in the top get a few hundred kills every few minutes since they obviously got a good PSE burst rolling and there was no way to catch up.
It might be a bit better if it was a forced kill X mob on Y map everyone had to do, but when map choice is open it feels like someone is just going to get lucky no matter how smart your choice or how well you play. Need to see the time attack versions as I feel that puts everyone on a much more equal playing field and the time to do multiple runs means you get a few tires to learn the map better to increase your placement.
Laughing at people who think skill matters in this game. It's a JRPG at it's heart. It's about stats and how high you can get them. Also the fact that there are multiple ways to heal yourself, automate exists on a few classes for the lazy and atlas weapons can have life leech. Everyone can carry Moon Ato's so dying means nothing since that's up to 12x5 rezes. Oh and the fact that the vast majority of content can be zerged. That's right instead of waiting for a rez, even during most UQ raid bosses, you can go back to the gateway ship and run right back into the fight. There is no skill involved when you can just throw yourself at the fight constantly because death has no true penalty. There are a few examples of you not being able to do this like the 4 player Deus Esca but the vast majority you can die as much as you want, no skill involved and still beat the boss provided you have the gear to do enough damage in the time limit. This is not a skill based game, not even close. There's a few challenges but levels, gear, stats and the right class can make it all significant eaiser before skill comes into play.
Typical, and stupid, forced pvp that every mmorpg does. Just pisses off both sides as the pve players don't want to deal with a crappy pvp system. And the pvp players who enjoy it have to deal with all the salty pve players comming through the mode to make the rounds. Same problem, same stupidity, same annoyed playerbase, same dumbass companies that never learn.
