@Shinjukusomodin That has the potential of coming off as a bit rude
I can tell you from experience that GMs are not going to get offended by people sincerely voicing their concerns/complaints via the stream comments, especially with the vitriol they regularly get blasted with via the ticketing system. All people have to do is maintain their composure.
Any help we may have likely been getting with the issue being reported to the devs-
I've worked as a GM for two different companies, 99% of the time a GM tells you this it's to quell ire from the mob or a disgruntled player, most of these complaints are never put on paper or officially reported in any capacity. And even when they do, the people with the authority to make the changes possible won't make the choice to fix said problem unless they can convince some bean counter it will save more than it will cost. With that being said, I understand I have to be perfectly clear and say, I am not suggesting that the complaints with censorship have been completely overlooked, I don't know this publisher's exact policy in this case as they are all different, but GMs lie all the time and are even instructed to do so, I wouldn't take anything they say at face value.
The fact is companies are machines driven entirely by profits, the whole point of bringing our questions to the stream is to put them more out in the open and apply pressure. The forums can be relatively isolated, but if complaints spread to the streams and other forms of social media, it will be much harder for them to ignore, they will see it as a threat to their bottom line, at the very least they will be forced to make a public statement.
