Not only that, I'm pretty sure there would be all sorts of data of the numerous failed attempts available for the Devs and Gm's to see.

Not really, they would just open the game do the capcha, then run the macro they use to spam chat, it doesn't work, seen other games try this approach and it just ended up pissing off legit players and not doing anything to solve the problem, took them less than an hour to figure a way around the capcha.

Astra are still weaker than Nemesis/Slave.

For example let's take the Swords:

  • Astra Sword +35: 1657 MEL-Pwr. 12% damage multiplier, +40% attack PP recovery
  • Nemesis Sword +35: 1802 MEL-Pwr. 17% damage multiplier, 40% damage reduction, 20% PP cost reduction

Also, because of the natural Pwr difference, Dues' weapons are still weaker than Nemesis/Slave with equal augments despite the potential, unless you really push for unrealistically high augments. Again looking at the Swords:

  • Deus: 1663 MEL-Pwr +150 MEL-Pwr from augments which then gets doubled gives it 1963 MEL-Pwr with a 14% damage multiplier.
  • Nemesis: 1802 MEL-Pwr +150 MEL-Pwr from augments gives it 1952 MEL-Pwr with a 17% damage multiplier.

The 11 MEL-Pwr difference does not make up for the 3% difference in damage multipliers.

That nemesis sword sounds pretty nice 40% damage taken reduction?

NA has a weird power creep because we have elements of ep 5 and 6 in our game that is supposed to be ep 4. That the orignal JP version never had at the same point. I played JP Pso2 in ep4, I don't remember hitting as hard as I do in the Global version in ep 4 at the same level in the jp ver during ep 4, if anything i'd be doing half the damage I can do now at that point.

There is also the issue of once your char is lv 40-50, you can use 12* nox weapons, which vastly out prefrom most other 12*'s and anything below it. They just need 425 melee or ranged or tech def depending on weapon type. If you have summoner sub, you could use its stat boost passives to probably get a 12* nox weapon on at level 20 if not earlier. There is pretty much 0 point to bothering with 10-11* weapons when you can just use a cheap as hell nox 12* they go from 30-100k on ships 1,2 and 3 for the most part. Nevermind the fact you can probably use that nox weapon many levels before the average 10*. This mostly ticks me off in uq's when I see lv 50-60's using a 10* piece of crap when they could be using a 12* Nox weapon with 200+ more attack.

The other problem is the again the power creep, once you get a nox weapon on at lv 40-50 (or earlier with Su sub), your dps kinda plateaus till you can affix units and get a 13* weapon like the Gix series. My ranger had a nox launcher/rifle at lv 45 or so, and my damage didn't really go up much at all till I hit 65 and got a Gix weapon on, or the collection sheet 13*'s. Would have gone up if I affixed units, but there is no point to doing that till you got a endgame unit set to work on.

Have they? I was able to login a about 30 mins ago to see that my chars still have not been transfered to their new ship yet.

RE: Potential Reason for the Game's Censorship

TL DR: its due to prudes in western markets, that are scared of pixels showing a bit of skin. Look at sony, they censor most anime-type games, yet allow the last of us 2 to have a uncensored sex scene in it, which BTW is much worse than anything those anime games have. As for the underage looking characters, its a damn cartoon/videogame, its not real life and they do not exist as actual people. Either way due to how much censorshop is on the playsation platform recently, I am not going to bother with the Ps5 unless I see a change after it comes out, as I mostly play Rpgs, and many of them fit into the anime-style category, and usually get censored in stupid ways, that aren't even needed according to the esrb.

I especially find it stupid in the USA, a anime girl showing a bit of skin? OH NOES must censor that! Full blown super ultra-realistic violence of people getting ripped apart and murdered and such? thats A-OK!.

The censoring of anime-styled games is silly also because you could go to a public beach and probably see worse things than those games contain.

I dunno, I usually have a Nox 12* weapon in the lv 40-50 range as thats when pretty much any class can use them, as for units, the sub/barrier units from ep 4 story quest or the coffie CO, a set of 3 really helps with survability. Each unit adds 150 hp and 20 to all attacks and some dex. They are good newbie units till xh/lv 70+ imo. Not that I haven't searched the market to find better but its hard to find some with simmlar stats. But yeah if your in SH, your 50+ there is no excuse for you to not have a 12* nox weapon as they are often 50k-100k or so on the market. They use defense stat to equip 425 to be exact for the weaps dmg type like a sword uses 425 melee def. I don't plan to really work on my units till 70+ and there is a unit set I actually want, I want a set that has max hp on it as a base stat, and I don't know if any of the current 12* sets have that on them.

Honestly though I hate the entire affixing system as its just counter intuitive and a major hassle to actually use due to how its setup.

Other day friend actually ran out of time in a SH Luther UQ, because the party just did not have the dps needed to kill him in 30 minutes. Hell, I try to get a weapon with blind V on it for luther specifically so I can open the clock weakpoint. I got a rifle, need to get a melee weapon with it next.

There are nowhere near the millions wanting to play this game. There should definitely be plenty of room for everyone, though, since the server capacity on NA is much larger than JP due to Microsoft Azure.

Also due to the lack of any real advertising, if it was on steam I could see a massive influx, but its on the windows store, I bet most people who may be interstead in it don't even know it exists
