Goodbye for now.

I think it's only fair to state I won't be coming back to PSO2. Sega has decided to continue to be incompetent, making things convoluted and difficult, if not impossible. I could install PSO2 on Steam and start over but I am not going to. I am invested on the Xbox/PC version. I won't be installing 2 copies of the game just so I can transfer. I am tired of how Sega treats it's non JP customers and PSO2 isn't all that great anyway (in my opinion). I may return to PSO2 when Sega gets their act together in the future (maybe next year with the new version).

RE: any one lost interest in pso2 since they announced pso2 next gen?

I could care less about some new version that's scheduled for next year. I don't understand how that can influence someone's decision to play the original when it's available now and will last another year (maybe more or less).

RE: Re do the NA localized translations

Here's an idea: stop hiring cheap 3rd party services to get things done. Instead hire well known professionals (people) to do this kind of work, and do a thorough job. Geez, why do I have to keep telling you corporate imbeciles to use your common sense? Or perhaps you ignore common sense to save money, or don't have any, or simply don't care. Sorry, but the rest of us do care; and your poor service makes you look bad as a business. You want to save money? Get it right the first time.

RE: Final Fantasy 7 Remake

I finished it yesterday after 40+ hours. The voice acting was spot on. Good game though I thought the side questing was a pain. I am looking forward to the 2nd one already (which is now in production).

RE: Did you like Suikoden?

If Suikoden is the tactical RPG one I am thinking of , yes actually I played all 3 in a row. I enjoyed the story, though it's been so long since I played that game. I remember there was a boy, and some other smart guy who was making money off the war and some girl begged him to help and he was reluctant at first. Correct me if I'm wrong.

RE: What game are you playing to pass time?

FFXIV and Diablo3 are the ones I'm most active on. I am playing these casually, however. I am semi-active on Empyrion Galactic Survival Sometimes I am playing Space Engineers (offline now).

I am looking forward to see how well the Dual Universe beta will be. I am not going to invest in it right away. Too risky IMO. After a few days, maybe a week after they let up on their NDA I might invest if it is well reviewed.

I just finished FF7 remake on the PS4. I took my time with the game. Took over 40 hours to complete. I liked it but didn't care for the side questing (what a pain). I really started to like it when I got into the Shinra building.

I may start Persona5 again. I never finished the game and I loved it from the start (played 14 hours straight when I started lol).

RE: Important PSA about linking steam accounts (and more)!

sigh First of all, linking accounts should be done in your account settings on the website or through an app or on the console. I wish they had announced this days ago because I already uninstalled the game. I am not going to reinstall it to do an account link through the game. Looks like Sega lost another player lol. It is too painful to install/uninstall the game.

I was able to transfer my Destiny 2 license from Blizzard over to Steam through their own app which opened their website that allowed me to transfer my license; easy and done. Why can't Sega be smart about things like this?

Linking Steam and Xbox accounts.

Please make linking accounts possible through the Xbox app, console, Steam, and/or Microsoft account website. I will not go through a painful process of reinstalling the MS STore version just so I can link my Steam version if I want to play on Steam. Because then I'd have to go through the hell of uninstalling the MS Store version (again) then to the long installation of the Steam version.

RE: A general tip in Ultimates -

The problem with Ultimate is that it doesn't feel hard, but it feels like my attacks do nothing LOL Also why do people keep cycling around? I'd like to finish the quest and get it done. It's ok to be thorough but at what point are you going to finish?

RE: Am I crazy? (AC Sale Prices)

@Scerms77 said in Am I crazy? (AC Sale Prices):

Just because you guys are going on and on and on by saying how shitty the deal is, and nobody is going to buy it and blabla, doesnt mean you are right. Consider that you are a minority and there are plenty of people who are just fine about the deal.

Same goes for the doomed SG scratch....its always the same handful of Karens complaining about it, yet i see tons of people running around with the "captive records" costume...which means they where incredibly lucky or spend a lot of money to get to the ticket to choose the costume.

So if this kind of deal doesnt appeal to you, thats just fine. But you are NOT talking for everyone, no matter how often you complain about it or try to explain how bad Sega is or how shitty the deal is compared to jp.

There are many players who are willing to buy this stuff. ...now go on and call me bootlicker, to me you guys are also licking eachothers boots by constantly assuring eachother how bad and expensive and unfair everything about this game is.

"...handful of Karens..." Really? Please keep your politics to yourself. Also to defend those who are named "Karen" I would imagine this would be insulting on some level plus there are those who don't even understand the political insult you just spewed out. No one cares what you think. If you think a pile of shit is the greatest thing in the world you want to pay for, that's your business. The only thing the rest of us care about is what Sega thinks and hopefully they will make things better, for every one.

RE: So now that PSO2 is coming out on steam, what happens to the PSO 2 Tweaker?

I'll be dropping the Tweaker for the Steam version (unless they botch that too). Though I am not sure how to uninstall all the modifications the Tweaker had to do in order to get the game to work. I am weary about Tweaker and how it just hangs in the background after launching PSO2 (I manually end task it). But it is the only version that is working. The MS Store download worked until it decided to delete itself of its executables so I am not using the Store again.

RE: Game Devs Should Fire the Item Description Translator for Scamming and Cheating for their Paycheck.

I read the first 4 pages of this and I'd like to put in my 2 cents. From my point of view, the quality of your product says a lot about what kind of person or organization you are. Games are a work of art and engineering (duh) and as such, quality matters. For example, let's take something easy: a poptart. You got a few companies making them. One company uses quality ingredients and put a nice design using frosting sprinkles, or creates a new flavor with all the above. They put time and creative effort into a product they make and care about. Now let's take another company that tries to do the same thing but cheaper, and uses crap ingredients, doesn't care about effort, and shovels it out to the masses. Who do you think will generate the most customers, or has higher customer satisfaction? It's a no brainer, common sense. Releasing a game over seas that has so much art (including writing style) requires a substantial investment of time and money; not something you can throw in a grinder and hope to get something good.

RE: Pietro quests, defeat a level 61 enemy with "pet type name" not working.

If I read a description of what I'm told to do and don't see any numbers, nor see any quest progress for a kill count, I don't think I was in the wrong or being stupid. Frankly someone in Sega, with competence needs to sit down and look at the game, it's translations and text description, business model, technical things, etc and recommend some changes.

RE: Pietro quests, defeat a level 61 enemy with "pet type name" not working.

Now I see my mistake. I read the text "Defeat a..." meaning 1 and didn't even see the objective amount on the right. Thank you for correcting me on this. I'll learn to stop paying attention to their @#!? translation and descriptions and look for numbers on these quests lol
