@Archetype-Luna I absolutely agree with what you said. And to be clear, I'm not saying that $0 players should have a bad time, I'm just saying that the game shouldn't make them feel 100% comfortable with not paying. There has to be incentive and pressure to spend money or else the game doesn't even have a business model.
I'm a big fan of Warframe too, but their monetization isn't any more generous than pso2. You still have $80 packs, expensive color packs, you have to buy extra inventory space, you literally have to wait 24 hours to 7 real life days for items to finish crafting. You don't have to buy anything, but you'd have a much better time if you did. If they had a subscription that let you bypass most of that crap, people would be all over it.
You can still have a fun time playing Warframe, but that requires you to either become comfortable with the restrictions that the game puts on you.... Or pay to have them removed. That's the same deal in pso2
