Just a casual that plays on free time. I do rp and can be found on discord Rena #8202

However lately I've dedicated myself to messing around with game engines, at the moment learning Javascript, then I'll go onto other forms of scripting. ^^

A curious question

I know this would be very hard to do since only a select handful of the actual playerbase use the forums. But since this version of pso2 refuses to have block labels outside of challenge and pvp lobbies, I was thinking maybe we could set it for ourselves if we slowly work into it and make it easier on each other in the long run until the release of ngs.

Perhaps setting the first five blocks as social, 6 - 10 normal, 11 - 15 hard, 16 - 20 very hard, 21 - 25 super hard, 26 - 30 ultra hard, 31 - 35 ultimates, 36 - 40 time attack, 41 - 45 any purpose freeplay, 46 - 48 triggers, 49 casino focused, 50 reserved for people who may want to run certain things alone.

Since the way things are now every block tends to have a wide range of players, as well as a team or two that makes it their home block. So when it come time for asking strangers to join triggers, or starting something that people normally won't do if they aren't sure others are, we don't really have a way other than multi block matching and hoping we get lucky. However if manage to do it this way, it'll give people a specific place to come look first before multi matching.

It's not a suggestion or complaint or anything of that nature. Just a curious idea that maybe can work. ^^ It'll be fun to attempt across ships to get this going, but it's no big deal if not since it could push people and teams out of home blocks if certain ones become popular for whatever reason.

RE: Friends, join me if you'd like to grind levels, rares, or meseta. [Ship 2]

I still need to put a character on ships 2, 3, and 4. Once I get one settled on 2 I'll be sure to seek you out. ^^

RE: Why are people such jerks in Level-Up Quests?

When it comes to about 80% of people running level up quests. If it's not a friend, or a team mate, then it's 10% party boost fodder and they likely won't care. So in short, do not trust a stranger.

The safest thing to do if you want a party for those quests is to just make your own via party marker so you'll have control over these things. Impatient people will leave and join another party if they feel you too slow which the good thing of that is, when they do, it won't pull you with them since you are party leader. And if something comes up that they need to do in the middle of it, you'll have no worries about ending up back at lobby without warning because they abandoned and took everyone else with them.

Option to remove free field boss intros/death scene

Or expeditions whichever you prefer to call them.

I feel at this point that they are only just to be rushed since no XH etc, even with it's pretty tiring after years + 6 episodes + NA release and it's updates to still see the "dramatic" intro of bosses that'll die in 5 seconds and then have the camera snatched to show a close up of their death and our directional controls to reflect that based on where we are when we kill them.

I just want to get in and get out. So if possible I think it should be made so that on area 3 the boss spawns automatically so that when you enter the teleporter it's already there ready to fight. And when you beat it disable the camera panning so that we can more easily leave the area.

For newer players it'll be okay the first time but afterwards there should be an option to disable it.

RE: Coming back after some time

@Rang-Dipkin Ah whoops forgot ship. lol I am of ship 1. Also my ign is same as here. Raburesu. I just gave the id my friend found my by when he joined. XD

Also don't worry, I'm not new to pso2, been playing JP, just wasn't in NA due to controller issues so I don't need any help requiring classes, tips or any of that. It's more that I don't want to be doing it alone if it can be helped. ^^

Quick edit: Forgot the ign. lol

Coming back after some time

I got forced to other games and hobbies because this one just has the oddest issue of not detecting my controller. I can't do keyboard and mouse due to my current setup so it left me unable to play this for a long time. I end up trying again once a good friend said he was coming here for frame arms and after more time messing with settings and resets than I want to admit I actually finally got a controller to work last night!

Now the problem is I'm so far behind, like starting episode 3 far behind and this game is on it's way to ep6. I'd like to try and catch up as best as I can but it'll be boring to do so pretty much alone. So I'm wondering if there would be some kind people to play with me and give a little helping hand to catch up. My player id is 10009632. And I do got that return bonus thing on me for double featured gifts for those who may want that.

I'm pretty casual and not looking to go hardcore on this game. So I won't be grinding as hard as others or around as much. I'll only go as high as being able to do current content then I just hang around doing silly stuff when I am online.

RE: New Genesis Wishlist! (Come on y'all let's inspire SEGA to make a truly Next-Gen experience.)

Some things I'd really like.

  • Stop making everything take as long as possible and stop yanking the camera. It gets old really fast to see the same boss die in the same way for the 1000th time. Just let me have my loot now so I can move on. And by that, stop tieing the telepipe to when the info finishes. It's a little awkrard to stand there waiting on it to appear.

  • No more "immersing us in the game". Just let our characters talk for ourselves please. It really takes me out the story when I'm constantly getting forced to answer a pointless question my character could of easily done in "..." text. All it does is changes 2 lines of dialogue, if I wanted that, I'd go back to playing tales of world.

  • allow us to choose who gets to view our equipment etc. Like the room entry permissions. If I only want friends to see what units and weapons/affixes, it'd be just only them. It'd just be a blank screen for anyone else trying to peek.

  • For them to maintain content more content because having more things to run is nicer even if it's outdated than having 60% of the game die in 4 hits to a 1 star weapon because of player buffs overtime.

  • If there are movement PA's, set it so they only chase the target on a hard lock on. In coast for example, with shell flowers growing all over the place, I can either guilty break in tps and have no control of direction during the running part. Or don't and have control, but the moment my character see a hittable flower, they veer off 90 degrees the wrong way and ignore my directional input just to hit it and probably get poisoned.

  • Please don't tie mobile titles to ngs and try to force us to them. ;-;

RE: Will you continue playing PSO2 or wait for Genesis?

If idola, and pso2es is of any hint, I think it'll be of interest to continue playing pso2. There may be a chance sega may connect the two in a way that you get rewards for playing them both during certain events. If this happens, I'd love for it to take over what idola and pso2es does so we can stop being forced to waste our time in mobile gachas many don't enjoy.

Yeah you can auto them, but chances are you have much better things to do with your phone or pc resources (if you doing it through emulator).

RE: USELESS EMERGENCY TRIAL RESCUE FUNGI

Well if it bothers you that much, there is something you can do. Carry telepipes. It's only on map as long as someone else is. Don't want it chasing you? Telepipe out and come back through it. It'll just chase someone else, if there is no one else, then it despawns. This also applies to gel wulffs and probably some other stuff that requires a player to be there to work.

But when it comes to parties anywhere with it, only your party members know where it takes you. Other people have to wait on the lady to shut up long enough to "give" the location and that's only if they been to that part of the map. Otherwise anyone wanting to help will be blindly chasing numbers. And if there is action around the map, then it's a guessing game to figure out which one are your damage numbers. The best thing you can do is use the chat shortcut that gives your location and hope people come by to help you break it.
