@OlsenSan As @coldreactive said, typically, you want a DEX Mag on a Bouncer due to Bouncer's Skill that converts the DEX on a Mag at a 1-to-1 rate into both TEC-Pwr and MEL-Pwr (so a 200 DEX Mag is the same as having a 200 TEC Mag and 200 MEL Mag equipped at the same time).
That said, you can still play with either a MEL or TEC Mag depending on what weapons you are going to use.
If you plan to only use Jet Boots (with Soaring Blades as a seldom used back-up), you can use a TEC Mag with no issue since Jet Boots by default use TEC-Pwr to deal Melee Damage; you can also do a Jet Boots only build with your MEL Mag, but you would also want to take the Bouncer Skill Switch Strike since it will make your Jet Boots use MEL-Pwr instead of TEC-Pwr.
If you plan to use Soaring Blades either by themselves or alongside Jet Boots, then you can use your MEL-Mag.
You also have to consider the subclass you will be using as Bouncer meshes best with Hunter and Fighter due to their high Melee Damage multipliers, with Hunter serving more as a bulky build that serves using both Soaring Blades and Jet Boots, and Fighter being a higher damage potential build that is squishier than Hunter and best for a Jet Boots only build since it does have multipliers for Techs and its Chaser Skills mesh well with Jet Boots.
Thanks a lot for answering, this deffo cleared my doubts in such well written explanation I plan to use jet boosts since it is what I have as weapon and also some nice weapon camos waiting to be used. Thanks a lot!
I am interested in making a bouncer alt to play with my tech mag. I have 3 characters and each character has a different kind of mag, tech, melee and ranged. right now I have my force/tech as main class on my tech mag character, but I saw that Bouncers also use tech mags then I am willing to switch to this class. But I saw something in personal shop that made me really confused. All weapons that are affixed on the market are affixed with Melee power. 150+ melee power, 170+ melee power. I realized that the bouncer weapon has high stats for either melee or tech power, so my question is... Should I play bouncer with my tech mag or melee mag?
I recently got a dropped weapon from enchanted forest, halloween event, and I enchanted it to +35 and it has 1937 base tech power and around 1800 base melee power. I want to use this weapon for my bouncer if I start playing it, how should I affix it then, melee or tech and why?
Before anything, I want to let you guys know that I am pretty new to the game and it is a lot of information for me to keep up with, so that is why I am here making some noob questions ^^
I realized what was the problem with my collection being 100% but not being delivered. what happened was. It was dropping their weapon target, like Nox, and it was white coloured and I wasnt picking that up, because I only pick up weapons that are red coloured. When I realized that and then picked the dropped nox ones for my ivlida collection they finally delivered the collection weapons I was working on. Not sure if that helps but check it out.
@ZorokiHanuke And in both games gw2 and tera, you can buy the tickets you need to change your character style with in game currency, just buying on the shop. In guild wars 2, there are events that give these vouchers away as well. You can just farm some normal gold and exchange it to buy whatever you want. and as I said, if you are someone who plays that game for a while, you are never out of money. The "few things" you can change in your character in pso2, are the items you buy ot are free. like you buy ac scratch or sg, to get an hairstyle, so ofc they have to make it possible to be changed in the salon, you paid for it, even if you bought it with meseta. If I buy outfits on gw2 or tera, they also allow me to change it whenever I want. In there everything (hairstyle, outfits, etc) it has its own storage and you can change them whenever you want as well. Tera has ingame items that allows you to change your character heigth and other stuff. you can buy those with fashion coupons. So I dont really know what you are talking about ^^. I dont think you know those games very well to be talking such things. The most important things you wanna change in here you need the salon pass, what in this case, you can even get one from fun scratches or mission pass, But as I mentioned before, you can get those in the other games with in game currency, nothing you have to pay for. That was a real bad argument, try again. And I am talking about something that is useful, not cosmetics. Bloodymonarch said that there isn't many games that give away so much for free. As I mentioned, Tera, gave us premium pass in their leveling event, besides many other useful items, like keys, inventory expansion etc. Items that you can only buy here with AC, real life money. In those games, you can expand your inventory and storage as much as you want with in game currency and I can say, you need more storage in here than in those games. or you gonna have to be clearing inventory after every run. It is funny you trying to talk about cosmetics, when the other games gives a lot more important things for free and they are also free to play. Lets mention that Tera, Gw2 you can also use broker without needing premium membership. in here you either have to buy premium or 30 day pass to use personal shop or get lucky spending 20k fun points to maybe get 1 or 2, 3 days personal shop pass. how do you even want to compare anything? ^^
@Jamesmor I only mentioned what I did to fix my problem in the same day it occurred, but you can still do your thing, that is only if anyone else is willing to try.
@Yami-Haseo I used pso2 tweaker to solve my problem. I installed and opened the game through it. It identified that there was a problem to be fixed and asked authorization to fix it. so after that the game was launched perfectly well. Than later I could normally open pso2 through its normal shortcut and unninstall tweaker.
wall of text, had to stop at some point.
It's VERY CLEAR WHAT YOU'RE BUYING, and VERY CLEAR WHEN YOU GO TO DELETE, so there is no issue. You paid for a very specific service that you got, and if you delete it you accept the terms.
You can still try to defend it with all your strength, it wont change the fact that it is a "bad service". We don't like that kind of service. In my case, I make my characters according to their mag, I wanted 1 character for each mag. I was thinking about getting a 4th for dex mag, to when phantom get released. but I will probably, maybe just buy the mag that is cheaper or not even buy it at all, since now I am playing hero and loving it. That would be the only thing that would make me spend money in this game, other than that, I am not investing my money to lose it, even if they "PUT IT ON ALL CAPS LETTERS". that just makes me not want to spend 1 cent in here, and make others who didn't pay attention to lose theirs, get frustrated and quit. Many Eastern games when they come to west they have finantial losses because of this kind of policy. But let's not change this for the good of the community in the other hand, the bots that have no problem of buying as many slots as they want can just run free.
Third time this has happened to me this week and these problems only started once Episode 5 hit. And what will I get if they ever even fix this mess? Three Triboosts, a pat on the back, and a "We're sorry".
I feel you, I was having this problem as I said above as well, But I started launching the game thru their game folder and running pso2.exe file as administrator. First it reduced the crashes and since the day I posted above I have no more crashes. maybe try it out and hope for the best. Also if you have tweaker installed on your pc, unninstall it.
In any game I played untill now, and they are many, if you buy a character slot, it is a character slot. you can delete the character and the slot stays there empty for creation of another. Because they value the money you invest in their game. If you buy it with real life money it should be permanent. There are games that even allows you to buy the slots with in game currency, such as Guild Wars 2, Tera, Aion and others. I have around 13 characters in Tera, and I abused of the leveling event where you'd get a bunch of items including 3days premium per character lvled to max lvl. That means I created around 11 characters during that event and made 33days premium for free. but even though I got it for free, before this event I bought with rl money my premium as well. With that being said, actions like that makes the player invest their money in the game, because they know that they wont lose it. They are investing on their fun that has to be permanent for the time that the servers will be active. Games are business, Devs wants to make money and the player don't wanna lose theirs. I will never spend money in PSO2, or buy a character while they keep this policy. And use the excuse of how many people would abuse of leveling an alt to +30 to get items, they invested their money on it, paid for it, that money helps the company to keep the servers up and running. They should get some rewards for that or not? here I am. 8 characters on guild wars 2, 13 in tera, 2 accounts in Aion with at least 10 characters. Invested money on all those games. Bought 2 expansions in Guild Wars 2, saving money to buy the third when they release it, used my money to buy a lot of in game stuff even though you can buy practically everything exchanging in game currency, something that for an experienced player like me can make easily in that game, but I wont spend in here if I feel like my money is for gamble, luck, or wasted. You can't buy an outfit you like directly here, you have to play ac scratch to have a chance to get the outfit you want. That is a gamble. I don't like it. you cant have extended storage permanently, you have to spend your real life money for something that you gonna lose after 30 or 90 days even if you are premium. Maybe this works on JP, but it is not how it works on west.
It is october now and I am having this problem today. I need weapons to dismantle to get gold items and sapphard to get my atlas series weapon and then the game decided that they wont deliver my 3 weapons that are 100% now. I have done buster quests at least 3 times after it became 100% and they won't drop the weapons for me. what a f'ing weird game full of bugs.
This is still happening, after this last "emergency maintenance" that took 10 hour because of the "personal shop" I started getting these errors, first it was error No 249, and I fixed it, now it is error No 630. And I am 200% sure it isn't my internet. It comes from PSO2. why when this game do any maintenance that always take extra hours, something comes out broken? I can't be the only one having these kinds of problem.
