Can confirm, but pressing + on the NUM PAD fixes it right away for me, unlike the OP.

In previous PSO lives, I've also been known as Sodaboy.
If you can manage to get the Windows 10 version working again, install the free Steam version right after and link your accounts, then uninstall the Store version because it’s trash.
You may want to use PSO2 Tweaker to help get the Store version installed again.
For the MS Store version, the user.pso2 file should be in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME_HERE\Documents\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2_NA
For Steam it is C:\Users\YOUR_NAME_HERE\Documents\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2_NA_STEAM (in case anyone else wanted to know this)
Are you playing it in virtual fullscreen mode?
I remember reading something about there being a glitch where PSO2 can't update resolution values after running it the first time, I forgot where I read that.
I remember the fix being to delete the userfile, run the launcher again, set up your resolution and pick windowed and not virtual fullscreen. Make sure to set the UI scaling correctly.
Launch the game, close it, then change it back to virtual fullscreen and it'll be fine...
Of course, the fix could be something as easy as going into the file in the first place and making sure everything is set to 3840x2160 because some values don't update on their own.
Saw some stuff about that here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PSO2/comments/grml9t/fix_for_game_stuck_in_720p/
If I find the proper post about all that crap I typed up there, I'll link it here too later.
EDIT: Ah, here it goes!
You’re not going to be able to import your character unless you change your character’s height.
If you don’t want to do this, then you’ll never be playing here with that character.
This specific minimum height requirement has been enforced on all characters here since the beginning and the developers will not make an exception for you. You’re not special.
Now, if you want to protest and picket and not play, then that’s fine, go back to the Japanese server, because quite a few people have complained about this and there has been no budging from SEGA.
If you truly want to play here and love the game then just make the sacrifice and adjust the height of the character.
Just because you can set the game's interface to Japanese as well as set Japanese voices does not mean this version of the game supports Japanese communication.
If the ticket reply stated that they only support English, then that's probably all they support.
There could be any number of reasons why they do not support it. It could be as simple as the game masters not understanding Japanese and not being able to deal with reports coming in with the Japanese language or a report made about something that was said in Japanese.
Basically, if you want to communicate in Japanese, go play on the Japanese server. Support for this game is only in English.
Being able to set the game's interface to Japanese as well as have Japanese voices is a bonus and ported over from the Japanese version, but that's all it is... a bonus. It is not an officially supported language for communicating between players or even between players and game masters on this server.
