Using Xbox gift card also asked for address in NA. My friend said he just use some KFC address in San Francisco or something.
That's worth noting if it's right. I did use Home version as well, and had that problem(fine now with Tweaker). Might be interesting to collect more data on this.
Off-topic but is there any setting that disable signature on this forum?
@Zenonia3652 I think it was like a minute or so? Very short.
Yes, I understand since I did try this yesterday, and seems to work fine so far. What I meant is the step #5 which from the arks-layer site also has this little title(well, not little):"Registering the game with the Windows Store" listed. Which I presume you still need NA ms store in order to link the files that you just downloaded and installed even though you didn't download from ms store itself.
Did you have ms store in NA region set?
I'm pretty sure you still need the ms store for this, only that you didn't download from it.
don't understand the
#6. Rename your Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\pso2_bin folder just to make sure it doesn't try to launch from there for some reason.
Like if you follow it step by step, but not installing in default C, and not in the Program Files folder, there shouldn't be anything in Program Files folder at all. In my case, installed it in D, so it only have pso_bin in; D:\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2\pso_bin
There's nothing in Program Files folder at all, not in C, not in D.
Do I just skip this step or something?
Uninstall does work for me though somewhat. What I did was uninstall pso2 normally(it just look like nothing happened after you click uninstall), then wait for a while like 5-10 minutes then restart the system. After the restart, pso2 disappeared from the list of installed game, but you still need to take ownership of some folders to delete them from your HDD.
