Installed the game a week and a half ago and was surprised I had no issues with that lengthy process.
Playing it for a week testing classes to see which I'd main.
Settled on Bouncer, deleted one of my old chars to make room for the bouncer main. Created him, logged off to sleep.
Wake up this morning to get in a quick hour or 2 before work and the game refuses to open culminating with an error about how pso2startup in the Mutable folder cannot be accessed by the game.
Why? Because somehow the permissions for the folders all related to PSO2 got messed up SOMEHOW.
The game can't run, I spent the next 3 hours googling, changing permissions, even scanning my computer for malware and nothing. Finally got the game to respond when I clicked Play and it tries to REINSTALL from scratch which took 12 hrs to complete last time after the 11gb download.
So fed up and frustrated I click "uninstall" and the contents of the folders I was dealing with disappeared but guess what?
The 50+ gigs of storage has not been restored and I can't find any files in the locations to even DELETE.
How does this travesty of a launcher for a 12yr old game even make it to market with the XBOX/MICROSOFT tag on it.
This is lazy BS, I was about to spend money on this game only to be met with this. Imagine if I had spent money last night and COULDN'T LOG IN TODAY?!
My computer is fully updated with this Windows 10 junk as well.
