I have to agree with Linksow on this one. To add to it, maybe it's just me, but I feel like gamers have been increasingly turned more entitled in the past few years. It used to be just the minority group (a bit like how there's this SJW minority crowd who just ruins things around), but now sometimes these complaints can actually be from the majority group and it kinda bothers me.
I still need to get ahead of my time, but my opinion right now is that gamers being very entitled like this is really unhealthy for a game community. Complaints can also ruin others' moods. I know this isn't PSO2, but I play another game by KOG called Grand Chase Classic. They just re-released the game, and they're slowly adding the characters back in because they need to balance them. It looks like they're more serious about that.
However, instead of at least a good criticism or something, peoples are acting extremely entitled. They want every characters from the beginning (and just balance them later), they wanted better graphics (even though they did get it, and now they'll get it again in second update), etc. etc. Like, the only thing I actually agree with is the pricing, it's expensive outside USA. But otherwise, after the first few days it devolved into mindless complaining and whining. The game is on Steam, but the main problem is that Steam refuses to remove what is commonly know as these review-bombs, which irritates me. I admit that game has flaws, but KOG is being serious on fixing them at least. Hell, the second update brings back the 6th character (out of 20, will take a while), and also gives us FREE 6th character slot (before, you had to pay, or do events to unlock).
And now, peoples are pretending to be falsely banned from Grand Chase, only for clout and to make the game look much worse. (They were banned for good reason.) I remember this happening in early Elsword days when it got released in Brazil.
It just feels like these days you can't even make an opinion without being criticized. Like, it's no longer black and white, you have to agree with others, or you get flanked and ridiculed for it. Can't have a different opinion. I just want to enjoy without having the opinion shoved down my throat, I already voiced the issues but nothing much I can do. I want to enjoy, if I have problems I complain.
Agree to disagree with me, you can disagree with me, but TLDR my point is that complaints have generally been more toxic lately. Things I have no or little problems with, peoples have huge issues with. I'm worried about the MMORPG industry as a whole if this keeps up. Blue Protocol has expectations because it's great, but I feel like peoples will complain even if it's good... we need to wait for release though.
There is a difference though, between mindless complaining/echo chamber (I never EVER SEE THEM ASK "use feedback form" at all, a reminder would be good) and actual constructive criticism.
