RE: Give veteran players the ability to silence bots.

this suggestion turned out poorly in warframe. regardless of the actual effectiveness of the system you're suggesting, giving some users moderating power over others tends to have poor optics and runs the risk of damaging the community's trust in each other and the game's management. as this is a different game than warframe, the cost/benefit calculus may certainly be different here, but the risk of abuse should not be treated as a mere hypothetical that can be safely ignored until it actually occurs. an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

The ability to hide threads would be nice

particularly for topics that consistently crop up and are rarely ever constructive. like an enhanced "ignore thread" button

@Gurgles ares can be combined with nemesis/slave/invade to make 15*austere in the future, so don't feel too bad about it (also note that each weapon must be +35). but i believe you are right that nemesis/slave outdates most early episode 4 content because they implemented the newtype nemesis/slave rather than the oldtype, though i'd appreciate confirmation from someone else as well

to be clear, i don't disagree with the suggestion. they do take up a lot of space, particularly on EN which lacks pso2es storage. i'm just offering information wrt expired keys that the other users don't seem to know about

@BLaCKnBLu3B3RRY @Princesse-Jen @JuggernautGTX you can exchange 5 expired keys in the swap shop for a fresh tokyo gold key. the exp gained is only slightly lower for 5 tokyo silvers to one gold. more importantly, this lets you save all your keys for PSO2 day boosts on the second of each month, which yields significantly more exp

well, i think both of our comparisons are helpful, but maybe not as much as i initially thought. i personally like your suggestion of swapping the current SH and XH HP, though i wonder if it's that simple. even if we do that, it is worrying that most of the weapons for upcoming EQs will be irrelevant compared to nemesis/slave

that doesn't really change that it's due to laziness rather than "NA won't like the difficulty"

also, you can most certainly find videos of people solo clearing PD in 2016 in 20 minutes. heck you can even find videos of an organized MPA clearing it in under 5. your comparison is good, but it's hard to draw very large conclusions from such a small sample size, especially for solo runs where you're only measuring one player. this is further muddled by them having episode 4 austeres (the 13* versions are weaker than nem/slave, i was thinking of 15*) but not the episode 5 balance changes that we have (i will note, however, that in all cases you can tell it's the EQ version rather than the solo trigger from the ARKS support buff)

affix augments would have much less value if you made any slot count transferrable to any slot count. that's simply how RNG drop rates work. furthermore, you would no longer be able to add value by upslotting to make money. (also endgame weapons are not supposed to be tradable. that you can sell nemesis/slave right now is an anomaly)

furthermore, if you learn how to use the affixing system, you should never need insurance. the +40% success rates you can buy at the excube shop are more than sufficient. using 4s/6s insurance to begin with results in a suboptimal weapon when all weapons are expected to be affixed at 8s in the future. there is a case for using it on units, but that is an incredibly inefficient use of meseta imo

you might retain more f2p players with a simpler system, but none of them would ever be able to buy what the p2p players have

please read my post here as to why the complexity of the affix system is important to the in-game economy. i agree that it could use a better tutorial, but if you made affix augments transferrable from any slot count to any slot count, you would crash the economy for f2p players once endgame weapons are no longer tradable. the only things of value would be AC scratch items

the ep 5 equipment being in ep 3 is purely a result of their simplifications to the OT-NT weapon system. you are all overthinking what is most likely just the result of laziness. moreover, UH (current max difficulty) urgent quests also clear in about 10 minutes on JP. the game is far from difficult
