RE: Has anyone beat the New survey Quest?

@MarshalTobias32 Honestly speaking he's not that much of a challenge. Say, the first ~100 floors while you're still learning and Masquerade is going through rapid changes can be challenging. However after that it quickly becomes an annoying daily chore. The next significant bump in challenge comes at 990-998, and of course 999 which is a challenge of its own because he will literally one shot you no matter what. Only death resist effects can save you from his hits. (Do keep in mind that you have 998 depths worth of no hit practice runs).

The main problem here is, once you reach depth ~100(?) the rate at which he goes through changes slows down to a crawl. It takes literally hundreds of depths for you to see any significant changes and by the time you reach those you already know the fight inside out. The new mechanic changes might get you a few times, but after that the fight returns back to being an annoying chore for the next few hundred depths.

RE: From a fun game to a Cash Grab

@Albus-Rabbit That's pretty much it. It's a simple rule of supply and demand. If there has been no significant changes in the supply&demand large margin undercuts only have a short term impact on the item price, generally speaking. People who bothered to study PSO2 market at least a little bit can usually make a fairly accurate predictions, you don't even have to be a JP veteran to do this.

Let's say a someone wants to sell an item X for 1m. He goes to the market and finds out the price dropped to 600k, takes a screenshot and posts it alongside with a comment crying about undercutters ruining the market. If the item X was truly worth 1m the person would post the same screenshot but with a very different comment. Something along the lines of "Look at these idiots listing stuff for so cheap. Yoink, my meseta now! Time to relist these for 1m".

To stay on the topic. As someone who has played the JP version, NA always felt like a scummy cash grab to me with all the changes and dumb new additions such as Fresh Finds shop. NGS reveal and cosmetics carrying over pretty much confirmed this.

RE: Why is PvP so trash?

@Tri-Edge That's because it does suck. It's not quite PSO2 tier shit show when it comes to PvP, but it ain't far from it either.

RE: Cougar NX isn't present in the new Challenge mode... (CUT COUNTENT)

As an avid Challenge Quest autis...player, I do not see the issue. Cougar's replacements are faster to kill which results in higher scores and faster runs. Not that Cougar was particularly hard fight in the first place, he was more annoying than anything else. You could easily cheese Cougar by trapping him with the use of terrain, essentially making him a free kill.

Though I am curious as to why he was replaced.

RE: Broken market place

Who cares about weapons, do something about people jewing cosmetics. Oh wait, I forgot this is a banned topic and last thread regarding artificial demand, price fixing and criticizing current scratch system got locked by the time it reached page two for no good reason. While threads which consist of 30 pages long name calling flame war are left untouched.

RE: Don't release successor/scion classes for NA.

Ok, but in turn launch EU servers with only Succ classes. This way legacybabs and succkeks can both have their own containment server.

RE: Levelling up is such a drag in this game

@IncidentalIy You need both your main and sub class at lvl 85 if you wish to access Ultra Hard difficulty, but we won't be getting that anytime soon.

RE: Levelling up is such a drag in this game

FFXIV has one of the worst levelling experiences I have ever come across. It took me over a year and 4 resubs to reach lvl 80, yes I found the MSQ so unbearable it made me quit the game 4 times.

Levelling alts didn't turn out to enjoyable experience either, I burned out after 2. Your options were incredibly limited. You had Daily Roulettes and dungeon spam if you were a healer or a tank, PotD/HoH spam if you were dps. That's pretty much it if you cared about fast and efficient levelling. Entire game just felt like a one big, boring unimaginative chore which is why I only lasted ~3months at lvl cap until dropping the game.

If it weren't for Emet, I would have never even reached lvl cap.

PSO2's levelling experience feels incredibly tame in comparison. While it's limited and arguably kind of boring as well, at least it's relatively fast and low effort.

RE: A message to GMs so it can be passed to SEGA

@Morgothryuzaki A full list of available player voices, includes previews. There are literally hundreds of them. These include, but are not limited to unique voices, NPC voices and voices from popular animes. A lot of the tickets are voiced by big names in the anime industry. 99%(source, my ass) of them are also tradable.

RE: Challenge Mode is Now Open

@I-UsagiTsuki-I Nevermind, I'm blind. I thought you were soloing it, didn't notice it was a 12man MPA. Yeah, no clue what's going on there.
