Episode 6 update: bug still present.
Hi, I received response to the ticket some weeks ago, but the Episode 5 client didn't seem to solve this, I'd expect a problem that does not exist in the Japanese client would be easy to solve, but seems like I expected too much.
I was happy to finally be able to write properly my language in PSO2 and not see black squares everywhere like in the Japanese client, until I sent the sentence and it completely disappeared, and after trimming it in parts I discovered the words with tildes were the culprit, and also special letters that are not ascii.
Can this be fixed? at least the Japanese client registers the log and you can always use a third party log reader, but now you can't even send the whole sentence unless you write in typos.
@MisterJaySnek said in Ship 4 Looks like a reality:
Maybe it's an EU-centric server. Gonna have to test pings on it.
What's the IP for each ship? I'm interested in this.
Yeah completely different species and civilisations those Photoners from ARKS...
The Guardians were not responsible for the Colony crash, it was the Illuminus. ARKS ancestors ARE responsible for Profound Darkness / Dark Falz existence.
lol why has this derailed from the topic? can't a gm comment without turning it in an opportunity to vent?
@ZeeHero9271 said in Story discussion! [SPOILER ALERTS!!!] [Seriously, this whole topic is story spoilers!]:
Not exactly but we are cleaning up the mess made by the photoners.
Maybe it was not the best example, but on that note... ARKS are photoners, only evolved to survive their own mess, just like deuman are not considered a different thing even if they were created like a century ago (because Xion farted and Hadred DNA travelled back in time).
ARKS are like Soviet authorities trying to clean Chernobyl. IF the USSR was actually responsible for the creation of the atom.
The current dialogue options are only different answers, that part was the same long ago in JP, but the original quests you had to go to objective A, then keep unlocking scenes finding drops, then a new path opened, or maybe go back to an episode 1 mission in the middle of episode 2 because time travel and new paths open.
You are exploring and unlocking areas outside of story, otherwise you can't advance in the story, so yeah, you have to mix it all together, not take the story mode as a stand alone.
The original story mode mixed online partying and recollection requisites in a way a lot of people didn't like, it had long action story missions for each chapter, some of them with branching paths, I don't remember anyone not liking those so I really don't know why they removed them in the omnibus version.
