Stating that it's not my problem is not ignorant. You came after me in the other thread. You chose to be hurt over it therefore stating me ignorant. I don't sugarcoat things. And yes i do understand predatory monetization. Fresh Finds as it is now isn't really bad. However when the SG tickets come in, that's the problem which is why i stated what i said in the other thread concerning gambling and how it should be regulated because technically they shouldn't be in video games. So therefore, in your terms of me being "Ignorant" to predatory monetization, no, i'm not.
Also no, the "It's the player's choice" is not a defence in anyway. Because put simply, it IS your choice. A choice that is hard to make for some people that they prey of off but regardless, it's still your choice. The reason why they continue this predatory monetization is because of people (assumingly) like you and others - who continue to buy and buy because it is impulsive and the fact that there is no regulations regarding this yet. Hopefully something will come out of UK. Not because of the other people who can control themselves which the companies will hide behind the scapegoat of "It's your choice". However, it's still not a corporate defence like you stated. They will use it, but it's not.
