RE: Story Quest Shared Between

@Shadex uhhh, what? The only content outside of the story quests itself that gates story progression is Explorations and you basically just do those in the order they're presented to you and that's it for unlocking story. There weren't ANY cutscenes that would've played if you were without friends or not, it's just not a thing that happens outside of the lobby, and running into cutscenes in the lobby is not the main method you're even meant to access them.

You can replay every single story cutscene and mission via the Story Quest menu, and in fact replaying the latter to get S ranks if you didn't the first time is a good source of SG. There's not much "uncovering" of story for a new player in PSO2 Global, and hasn't been on JP since Ep5 reworked the whole story progression.

RE: Recommended Quest Campaign Reward Glitch

edit: Accidental double post, sorry!

RE: Recommended Quest Campaign Reward Glitch

You'll receive the campaign reward at the visiphone after you've done five individual recommended quests (meaning you have to have opened five boxes, you can't just run the same quest 5 times or on different characters). The campaign rewards won't turn up in the boxes themselves.

RE: Limited Time AC Swap Shop Is Coming (Badgecoin On The Rise)

Y'all complaining about augments should really look at how S-Grade augments work instead of blindly complaining, it's not the same system and was basically introduced to lessen a lot of the complexity while still offering gear customization (and if anything it brings more customization than standard augments ever did). They're simple transfers as long as the weapon or unit has the slots for it, no rng, no fuss, and once you have one you can always transfer it around freely and never lose it.

If you're not at least slapping some S-Grades on your weapons you're doing yourself and others a disservice at this point, it's really not difficult or anything like normal affixing.

RE: Does Zig's shop make a large part of the game useless?

There are S-Grade augments to hunt for from various content that mitigate this, but not everyone cares about affixing.

Either way this has only really been an issue because of the pace global has gone through content. PSO2 still has some horizontal options and plenty of niche utility weapons to prep but most of the long term work is augment farming.

RE: Personal shop prices are way to high

@Aquila-ibis I don't know why you're getting so heated with me, firstly I wasn't the one complaining about SG scratch, please check who you're replying to before you blow up at them. I'm not going to respond to most of your post since it's mostly opinionated and I don't appreciate being screeched at, but I do agree it's not like the real world economy, after all the one in game is much fairer than the real world!

RE: Personal shop prices are way to high

@Aquila-ibis You're not really understanding why certain things are priced the way they are. Starquake weapons completely skip the Profound step in an upgrade which is a weapon upgrade that needs 5 different weapons at +35 AND 150 void erebrite. They're highly valuable for this reason as this is this is the worst step in the process for a Trailblazer weapon and if they have a decent amount of slots this ups their value even further considering how difficult and expensive upslotting can be. It's fine if the investment isn't of appeal to you but the prices are that high for good reason. Secondly AC items do NOT share the same drop rate. There are items with a rarer rate than others which will typically sell for higher prices, especially as these are usually items that will be in high demand.

In the end this is all simple supply and demand. Market prices in an mmo are just as much set by the consumer as the seller (with the exception of scalpers who will just get undercut anyway). All the people in the game aren't suddenly going to come into agreement to lower their prices and it is of no benefit for a seller to drastically lower their prices when they're trying to make money to buy other items on the market that may be "overpriced". The issue with PSO2's market (though I don't really consider it one) is that there is a constant inflation of meseta since it's not hard for an average player to make a decent amount of money just by playing the game, this was worsened by situations like with Elder Triggers that essentially printed money in return for the time investment (and there still exists methods to do this such as Extreme quests).

RE: SEGA has abandoned this game to racism and hatred. Where are the GMs? SEGA do something already.

Op is absolutely right and anyone saying they're just "too sensitive" needs to learn that the rest of the internet isn't 4chan and to learn to have some fricking decency and grow up. An M rating doesn't give you carte blanche to be an awful person or that there should be no moderation going on, fact of the matter is if you're doing this stuff in a lobby you're in a public place and should be acting as such.

I routinely see people spouting racist, homophobic, ableist or transphobic slurs in the lobby, in hard text or symbol arts or even incorporating them into their character names. And then there's the constant sexualization of everything, the game is pretty raunchy at times so it's understandable to a limit but when you're directing it towards unwanted targets or constantly talking about how you want to violate Quna at concerts it's well past that limit. As a girl I've had at least half a dozen people make unwanted sexual comments about me or my character and it's sickening. If y'all wanna do that stuff there's places in game for it and it's not in public lobbies and especially not directed to unwilling participants.

It's starting to really spoil an otherwise great game and there needs to be clearer rules and moderation around this stuff.
