@Blaine-Blaster Are you lolling at the veteran Arks that played JP for 8 years or the Global vets that have played for 1+ year and NGS since launch? This is the PSO2 forums, not the NGS forum.

Not an accomplishment, but a find:
It looks like a collectible from a platformer, but it can't be interacted with and doesn't have collision either. Tried googling what it's about, but couldn't find anything. So for now, I dub it the emblematic phantasy star.
I saw one of these at the class trainer area in the center of the platfotm. I wonder where else they appear.
What these weapons do is add an element to the attack of the weapon, allowing normal attacks and PAs to contribute to an elemental downing of enemies, like the Nogleth in the opening trailer. Up to this point no weapon has had an elemental effect, leaving techs as the only way to achieve an element down. Basically, any time a boss stops is a down, this isn't a new status effect but a way for all classes to contribute to the elemental version.
Until an NGS weapon is fully ground, affixed and at least potential Lvl 3 it will provide less BP than a +35 15* with 6 affixes. This is part of my point from before, OG gear lets you skip the grind/affix/potential work for 1or 2* NGS gear and save the effort for 4*gear. Legacy gear gives an advantage, whether it is weaker than expected or not. OG god gear meant that you could start farming 4 star gear sooner and save Meseta/mats/caps for that gear.
The real advantage of Legacy weapons is that you don't need to spend resouces to grind 1, 2 or 3* weapons or units for a character. You can grind up to 1184 BP and start farming 4* gear and have the N-Meseta and mats you would have spent on lesser rarities to upgrade those 4* items. I was pleased at Lvl 5 to be able to grab 12* Legacy gear and upgrade to 13-14* at Lvl 10. All I had to do was grind levels and earn SP to start really farming for NGS gear. At the same time some Legacy gear has strong potentials. The 15* Millionaire series potential gives +20% all down status.
@RainGnyu Just a heads up, maintenance is now every week instead of every two weeks like you are used to. They changed the schedule for maintenance with NGS launch. Other games I play have weekly maintenance, it doesn't mean anything specific is broken.
