RE: Marriage system

@Miraglyth said in Marriage system:

Meanwhile I still say the bonuses should be secondary. To those who want a weddings system, shouldn't the spirit of weddings as an event be first and foremost? If extra bonuses is your primary motivation then I have to question your support for the suggestion.

i am just making suggestions here - if you dont like it its ok

RE: The Mag is a big part of PSO for me!

@RainGnyu said in The Mag is a big part of PSO for me!:

The Mag has always been an identifier for me in PSO. But seem as tho the NGS is taking that away. For me personally it not PSO if they take the Mag away.

well they are basically taking the mag system away not the entire mag

but i like feeding my mag and i loved PSO ep1 and 2 alot...i think a mag could have had a huge potential in PSO2 NGS so this is one of the changes that i actually dislike..i thought they might improve the mag system not kill it...but maybe they have future plans for something similar or didn announce any "replacement" for that matter yet

@Miraglyth thats your opinion - i have mine

and in my opinion having a thought through rewarding system bound to a wedding one is fun

RE: Marriage system

main thing is: implementing a wedding system wich does nothing but "being married" is kinda meh and not fun - feels dull...does nothing....but implementing some fun and rewarding (of your choosing) weekly/monthly bonuses to it along with a fun system (if its unique quests dungeons whatever comes to mind) it adds more spice and more things to do in game....we dont know how much of an endgame we have but anything new and fun to pso2 is always welcomed

we already have the "choose what you like" with the mission pass where we can choose to get tri boosts + goodies or rather grab fashion we like and enjoy....adding this kind of thing to a wedding system would make sense too

RE: Marriage system

@Miraglyth it might cause problems if the wedding was "AC only" and not "free" by spending SG (and only gives bonus outfits if you buy a luxury pack with ac but otherwise has no difference to the SG wedding) - i think the devs are doing a good job on keeping the game as f2p friendly as they can while also earning enough money for future updates...so i think theyll find good ways on making this "enjoyable as possible" without hurting the game...even if its just cosmetics you can get by doing "monthly missions" (seperate from other weekly/monthly stuff) or maybe even housing stuff (if it gets implemented) i think ppl would be happy with that....

something fun could also be: you can earn a key for a special cocoon (dungeon) by doing special tasks with your partner... that only 2 people can enter once per week - depending on how "well you are doing" you can earn special rewards randomly...like grinding mats etc or maybe even fashion on a low rate (fashion changes each 2 months) - you also earn points at the end depending on your rank - you can spend said points to "pity" some of the fashion the dungeon can drop but only max 2 item per - and a couple small insignificant items on a low point cost

I kind of draw the line at permanent stat gains or triboosts for married characters.

Well the boost would only apply if you were in a party with your spouse/partner if the two were not in a party then there would be no boost

Okay, but how long for? 2 days after the wedding would be fair enough. If you're thinking forever, then I'd register objection.

actually a time limited boost sounds fair enough - a 100% tri boost wich you may activate once per month on a day of your choosing (lasts 24 hours) - maybe something like a "wedding celebration buff" - wich only works if youre in a party with your partner to give it more spice

and maybe also add this buff into some kind of "system" itself wich got several perks - lets say you can claim monthly points by doing quests/other stuff with your partner (similar to mission pass) and then spend said points into the stuff you like (the monthly tri boost for 1 day OR 5 free scratches a month OR weapon grinding boost for 1 day OR flat amount of meseta OR whatever else comes to mind...whatever the devs feel like its not too much but also rewarding enough for the stuff youre doing....each perk having its own points wich you can collect by doing weekly quests with your partner)

I would rather they make AC items untradeable than force prices even lower.

oh oh oh you will see thousends of unhappy players if that ever happens

RE: Personal shop prices are way to high

@timmylaw said in Personal shop prices are way to high:

@Omae-Wa-Mou-Shindeiru ya, the average player is doing every weekly. They take a few minutes a week per character. Stop being lazy and wanting everything for free.

i would also say that the average player does that for his f2p alts + main character....anything above the average has more alts...as an example: i do daily quests 3 times a week on 15 characters - takes 60 minutes per day so 3 hours per week...and weeklies just "do themself" on the fly...quite literally...so spending 3 1/2 hours of a 168 hours week (30 minutes to turn in weeklies) for about 30m meseta (i dodge one weekly wich requires you to do advance quest and alike) and only turning in 2 items on yerkes per character...still seems quite "casual" to me even on 15 characters...3 characters are like what...40 mins to do dailies 3 times per week? and a few mins to turn in weeklies...

@obiwankenobi "for a new or returning player it makes getting desirable items extremely hard and makes me wonder if I should even bother playing."

what are considered desireable items? you mean end game affixes? endgame weapons? you can get those pretty easily (like the atlas ex before this maintenance - other endgame weapons require you to grind...obviously) as for endgame affixes....this game is designed to be grindy so ofc you need to prepare a couple dozen/hundrets of hours of grinding to get the best stuff together...if you expect to play the game 5 minutes a month and get everything you want...then thats the wrong game for sure...this is not a private server with 10000% more exp and 10000% increased rare drop after all

or are you refering desireable items to fashion? ya they can be expensive...but there is also a ton of cheap fashion you can choose from...or free fashion from mission pass...or "literally free" fashion from SG scratch tickets...by just playing the game

RE: Can we not cut out anymore story scenes and stop it with censorship in general.

@Akonyl ya but you see the rain guy said its SEGAS responsiblity to keep "us away from harm" or to "stop pedophilia" by censoring content....but as you said SEGA cannot stop ppl from what theyre doing...so the height restrictions do basically nothing to "prevent pedophilia" or "inappropriate" stuff in game
