RE: Fix the product search

Even if you just browse the top shops, and write down a product name of something you see and try to type it into search to have it just single out that item over all the offers to compare prices and such, it still can't find anything.

Also are the classifications of outfit items (ou, ba, in) included in the exact entries required to have te search actually work?

It would also be nice to have an option to just get outer, base or innerware from searches. You can only limit item display on outfits in general (no weapons etc) just restricted on gender/Cast availabilities.

Just for the record, NL microsoft store also says "program not available for your region" instead of the download button.

So NL is pretty much officially out?

If you can get a straight up answer about it, you would be a step further than me.

There never was any official notice about the region block issues, even this update upon the situation is something I had to see reported on the forums by another player rather than by an official announcement of this servers GM/mods or whetever you want to call them on the game website main page. Yet if you set up a support ticket trying to obtain more info from before mentioned party, you only get an evasive reply that they are not allowed to reveal future plans about the game, and that I should keep an eye on before mentioned announcements to stay on top of the topic I tried to ask them about.

Either that, or make all lootbox items impossible to sell or trade for all regions supported by the global service.

Isn't that the case already on PSo2 though? I've seen people complaining about items being untradeable on these very forums a lot.

Also PSO2 really is the only game acting upon these. Wargaming (Wolrd of tanks, Warships and Planes) also use lootboxes in their cash shop and as event rewards, and are perfectly accesable over here, no problems at al. Both on and outside Steam. True the direct contents can't be traded, but people can buy them in the premium shop with RL cash and gift them to someone else, so the link between real cash and the gambling part of the box still exist.

SAO Lycoris has in game tickets as quest rewards, usable in a gacha. It does seem to have some cash shop relations, but as of now the Lyroris cash shop functions aren't available yet so I don't know how the two exactly interact. Still the game released just fine.

And even if they can't change the law, they can make changes themselves. Being creative isn't a sin you know. Even if something in the past worked best, obviously times have changed, maybe for some countries more as for others. The way they treat the situation atm is just bordering on discrimination (the social kind mostly negative in nature, not the scientific kind.)

RE: Thank you thread. Steam version now MORE global!

Thanks for the clarification. Still remains the question why gambling restrictions should apply to a mature audienced game, gambling in a casino isn't forbidden for adults too.

Also, why is there a need for a gambling step for premium items in the first place? Is it really so strange to sell costumes as, well, costumes, or weapons as weapons (i don't know how they use the cash shop in PSO2, because well, im blocked out) ? isn't that how shops usually work? Amazon would have a hard time remaining alive too if they sell their movies in bundles of 10 and you only get 1 at random on purchase....

RE: Thank you thread. Steam version now MORE global!

Belgium might have some rules against lootboxes, but I'm quite sure Netherlands doesn't have anything going against them. And even if we have, PSO2 is the first game seemingly having problems with it. There are plenty of games releasing just fine with lootbox systems in one way or another. (Also leaves the question of why whould lootboxes be such an essential item if it creates problems with the law)

Also I asked about the ban in support tickets before all i got is the seemingly very basic answer: we are not allowed to reveal any plans for the future of the game, please keep an eye on the announcements on or site...

The lack of info about the issue is what stings me most. Even if a NL release isn't possible for one childisch reason or another, it would be nice to just get a straight us answer saying we don't have any chance of acces at al. Not knowing anything is the worst situation. Even worse than getting informed of a game you are exited about not releasing in your region.

Both SEGA and Microsoft aren't some small shady F2P gamedevelopers, they are both big multinationals probably making more money than they can spend. It shoundn't be that hard to get a game release over here. I mean, EA can, and they are the main culprits behind the lootbox issue.

Why wouldn't it be possible? Steam services the Netherlands just fine, just not for PSO2 it seems. It's not like our circumstances are that much different as for the most of Europe that is added by now.

Still no Netherlands...

RE: Bot appreciation thread; 1,000,000 accounts!

Just imagine how many accounts they would have if they didn't just throw a handful of darts on the globe to pick the few countries who can actually get in (not counting the use of bypasses/3rd party tools and such.)
