Even without parser, people will find other ways to call out other players such as their gear or number of times they died.

Perhaps something like the mining base defense ranking at the end but instead it shows the top 3 player's DPS and your own rank but hides everyone else so you can compare yourself to other people to see if you are actually pulling your weight or not. Because a common thing I been seeing on forums is that people think they are doing good because they didn't die.

This affix system is definitely a good meseta maker whether you are selling the base dropped affixes, the 10% success rate affixes or the finished guardian soul or components making it. During affix weeks, even fodders with no useful affix can fetch high price even though it has no useful affix on it as long it has good amount of slots. I prefer it this way rather than what other games like FFXIV where it is too easy to craft gear and selling it for barely the cost to make it in the first place.

It is the reason I can get many fashion items despite never bought any AC scratch tickets. I still buy premium and bought inventory/mag expansions for 1 character.

@Riesz people really over estimating Phaleg especially now with better gear and higher level. The story bonus quest Phaleg has about 3 million HP both first and second phase so about 6 mil HP total. The Phaleg in the extreme quest only have 1.5 mil hp for either phases so effectively only half of what is in the story. Plus in the extreme, healing is not nerfed though healing using resta or manual -mate will make you fail the stage order. You can use life leech to get around it and I don't think hunter automate trigger the stage order failure either.

Giving the HP into perspective, I'm currently challenging the new solo ultimate quest for EP6, even at depth level 1 - the boss has 66 million HP. I'm in the 80s and the boss's HP is approaching 200 million and you only have 15 minutes to burn it down.

@TsundereMuse while I get the frustration, I can't begin to imagine how much inventory/storage space will be taken up if layering wear is like cast parts. One benefit of layering wear is that the basewear and innerwear do not take up inventory and I wouldn't mind if outerwear was like that too. Not sure why outerwear is still on old system, maybe to be able to get SG out of them.

The current JP expert matching requirement was aimed at ~25% of the players that is matching for the highest difficulty urgents back when it was level 90 cap and pre-13* units. They have not updated the requirement since and with new much more powerful gear and higher level cap, I can only imagine that it is much greater than 25% now. Definitely not a just "small" portion of the players.

RE: What are chances of server merge when NGS releases?

I think SEGA would hope to have player population increase rather than having to ship merge when NGS comes out. Perhaps even 6 ships from what was possibly planned as there were 6 ships for selection.

It's common practice in MMOs tbh. Other games I played like FFXIV or BnS, the majority of the cashshop outfits are on per character basis and nontransferable between characters. To get it on all characters, you have to buy it for each character again and again. Kind of like games' company way of milking the people that can afford it without having to step into pay2win territory to generate revenue. Sure they can make it so it only cost 1 consumable rather than 2 for the whole account - but this is effectively cutting their profit by half on a game that is already more consumer friendly than others.

In fact you can still take stuff out of expired expanded storage, you just can't put anything in it.

@John-Paul-RAGE not really my concern whether you find me credible or not, I'm just another name on the internet speaking my mind. Much like you shitting on other people's thread like the cut content/censorship thread - you have your stances and I have mine. I don't believe I have resorted to ad hominem attacks unlike you calling people cultists and now questioning people's credibility. Why don't you stick to the topic and not resort to personal attacks.

I'm not getting what you are showing with the steam chart there, to me it just showed what I said, the player count has stabilized since EP6 release - no longer bleeding players month to month. Even though I don't wish global content making it's way to JP (like mission pass and Independence Day/Thanksgiving outfits), I accepted that global is going to be around - it ain't going anywhere until we see how NGS performs.
