The year is 2020, and basic things like stabilized releases and quick download speeds are still not a thing from certain providers

I played the original PSO online years ago, I loved it, basically the most simplistic scaled down mmo with a fun JRPG feel with quick action gameplay. This is the first game I've tried to go through the MS store. The store itself was quick to download, but after the SEGA launcher for PSO2 loaded, the rate of which the throughput is very bottle-necked is super horrendous. I recognize I am downloading 20GBs of data after the initial download, but the speed is ridiculously slow for our current age of technology. The fact I have a 300 Mbps download rating from my ISP and running SSDs, I am baffled to understand why I am waiting hours to jump into the game. If there are pay to enjoy options, I'm already too hesitant to invest.
