Now that's some good news!
Converse with fellow players
That's why having some clarification on what exact cosmetics carry over or do not would be good. Right now all we know is all emotes will be avaiable on NGS.
But then again, maybe not even Sega themselves know what will carry over and what not, maybe right now they intend for all cosmetics to carry over but don't know if they'll be able to remake everything in HD in time.
Not sure if or how it's related, put prices on ship 3 skyrockted today. Maybe whales no longer are spending as much money in the game since in a year all the meseta will be meaningless? Or maybe people decided to buy cosmetics now in the hopes it'll carry over to the new game?
I added in NA page post later - in there they said you will carry over mag and evolution devices BUT, mags no longer affect stats or aid in combat.
Welp, guess mags are just glorified companions then?
I was never a fan of mags and had mine stealthed as soon as I could, so guess I'll not be losing my sleep over that
I see, I was kinda expecting that outfits and basewears wouldn't carry over to the new game, it would be almost inhumanly possible to update everything to the new graphs.
And I was never one to care much for emotes so that's kinda meh for me.
Xp, Meseta and skills not carrying over was also kinda expected.
Now I didn't see that weapons, units and mags carrying over coming. Though I'd bet the gear we carry over most likely will be just an entry gear, easily replaceable by other stuff we'll find in the actual game(which is for the best I guess).
All in all, yeah, no big surprises outside that gear thing for me. Looking forward for what comes next!
@Fester follow the signs. Microsoft approaches PSO2 team with a new environment that allows them to access the game, manage, and integrate it from a remote location with low latency, it comes to NA finally, and then this new version showcases out of nowhere?
This was the goal the entire time. PSO2NA was literally testing how implementation and execution. I bet this new version was 100% developed in the new environment, which will be another showcase for Microsoft.
PSO2NA's entire purpose is to gather information for how to distriibute it to a global audience, including all the feedback we provide. This new version isn't just SEGA doing their own thing, it is a cooperative effort.
You can be a pessimist all you want, but asking for handouts while maintaining a negative posture will get you nowhere.
You're basically saying that the reasons we have to be hopefull for the future are pure speculations and conjectures.
Meanwhile what they have to factually show us is a broken game with an overly predatory monetization system.
Call me pessimist all you want, but these are the facts, the rest is conjecture.
A super pleasant surprise turned into a battle of pessimism, that's the Forum Way!
I mean... Sega's already given the NA players more than enough reasons to be pessimist about the future of PSO2 NA.
doesn it feel weird that we all were fighting over silly stuff? now knowing what their actual plan is - NOT to milk us players - NOT to close the servers in a couple months....THIS is the plan....ya their plan had some flaws but man im hyped
now what we can do - tell your friends tell your family tell your grandma- upload youtube videos about it - let the world know
To be fair one thing doesn't nulify the other, they're making an awesome announcement WHILE milking whatever money they possibly can from the NA server AND not solving issues that shouldn't have gone past internal testing.
@Fenex-Dragonis said in So months of the game deleting itself and we hear nothing, SG is harder to get with no transparency, but the Fresh Finds items are resellable and the shop is disabled in 10 minutes.:
Okay firstly... people need to Step and realize, these issues are not Segas fault.. Its microsoft. Which microsoft doesnt care, hell they cant even be bothered to test windows 10 updates.
Stop blaming sega for microsoft being microsoft... These issues are not caused by the game client... these are issues with the microsoft store..
The simple solution is to go download tweaker... after my first client self uninstall, i moved to tweaker, (the same laucher people have been using to connect to JP servers for years, which also supports NA) Since moving to tweaker, Ive had ZERO issues, not only that, but i get better frame rates and its compatible with steam.
so you have 3 options #1 keep reinstalling #2 move to tweaker #3 Wait for the game to come to other pc platforms. (as i guarantee you they wont have these issues)
in all my years of gaming, any time a game has been a windows store exclusive.. Its always been a shit show, Gigantic was another example. The point is windows store has a history of creating problems, and microsoft refuses to fix them.
This is just so wrong in so many ways that I don't even know where to start, so I won't.
Now on topic, does anyone know what was the issue with the fresh finds shop anyways? Was it only because the set was reselable on the market? If so then any 'fix' they may have for it might just end up making things worse
