@AndrlCh I do actually have light data, but on my phone. Can't download the xbox app there, which is why I mention this.
So you don't have Internet at all and just tether to your phone?
An Autistic man living in Madison, WI. I enjoy anime, and JRPGs. Some of my favorite games include Radiata Stories, Star Ocean, Wild ARMs, Final Fantasy, etc.
On the XBox you can upload your images directly from the console to XBox Live, then download them to your computer using the XBox app, or just upload them to your OneDrive; no need for any USB to be used at all (unless you have a really tight data cap).
And if we were on PSN/PS4, we could just upload to twitter/etc. (Same with Switch. Both of which JP already has.)
I did manage to get jet boots my Friend Avatar could equip as Techer main, and I wrote down some observations as to what she did differently in the other thread: https://forum.pso2.com/topic/8890/partner-card-friend-avatar-suggestion-for-custom-techs-pas/2
She still doesn't cast Zero Ramegid nor Zero Nabarta though. If this doesn't change, the best bet might be to use Techer/Summoner (With an all-class Harmonizer) or Te/Ra.
After adding Jet Boots to her as Techer main with Bouncer sub-class, I observed the following:
She is a bit more active with Jet Boots than she was on Wand. But she still won't cast Zero Techs.
As a word of caution. Friend Avatars don't actually cast Custom/Zero Techs: https://forum.pso2.com/topic/8890/partner-card-friend-avatar-suggestion-for-custom-techs-pas
Sometimes, however, their AI seems to think they're using Zero Techs. This makes making a Techter that uses melee more so not possible currently. In addition, they will use Foie and Barta despite not having them assigned. If you plan to go melee support with your friend avatar,
I'd recommend going Bouncer with Jet Boots for the time being. I'd recommend Summoner.
If you really want to keep Techter. I recommend waiting until Blood React Jet Boots come out (or similar) and use those with Techter Main and Bouncer Sub. Since your Friend Avatar will likely actually use things.
After obtaining a gold key as per the reply in that thread:
Afterward, you run up to the large yellow barrier, and choose Confirm:
A timer will count down and then you'll be able to go in.
I decided to put my newfound use of techs and strategies on my Techter alt Saeko Meina to the test by registering her as a Friend Avatar and then taking her out on yet another alt to see how her Artificial Intelligence performs. The first thing I need to explain is that I'm using one weapon set, and one sub-palette. This limits what the AI can effectively call upon to make it so it utilizes specific things over others. The below is what I have set. You might notice custom techs... this will be pointed out on after, in my observations.
The Nabarta shown is also a custom version that lets you guard with it. I should also point out there is no use of any other techs/PAs/etc. anywhere as you can see above. I want you to take a look at the video link below to see how she acts, and more importantly, what techs she uses.
Some observations on my part:
I would like to see Friend Avatars (and Partner Card NPCs) be able to use zero techs if a player has put one on the weapon and/or sub-palette. If this is impossible, then please consider making Zero techs into their own tech disc (that can only be crafted) separate from their original techs.
In addition, if Force, Ranger, Gunner, aren't set as subclass, the AI should consider melee attacking more as Techter.
I didn't even take part in the league at all lol
The ARKS League is a passive competition system that you will take part in whether you like it or not. During the time frame, kills of a specific enemy will be recorded. Omega Falspawn count as Falspawn by the way. Including those from Buster Quests.
@coldreactive lmao, all these years later and il see that kraken club still going for buckets of gill.
I see FFXI doesn't change much.
You can make tons with the new currencies they added. There's a level 75 shield that sells for a big profit to NPCs. You'll often find yourself with a lot of gil that you don't know what to do with as well now. Since some end-game progression in FFXI was tweaked to be more like trading in tomes in FFXIV. The only real uses now is leveling up crafting, or progressing your Adventuring Fellow NPC, or buying spells.
