You can always type it into party chat when nobody's in your party. It's what I do to avoid looking like a dunce.
This is the same series of games that once translated, "Falz," as, "Force," then swapped to, "Falz," after years of english speakers knowing it as, "Dark Force."
You just roll with it.
Did you make sure to click the EX series exchange and not the Atlas exchange?
So you don't have a lot of money, you know the game monetizes, essentially, loot boxes, and you spent the money you don't have to try for a random chance at getting something you don't need.
Whether the RNG is, "good," or not that doesn't change the problem, here. The sympathy story doesn't change the problem, either.
JP has separate weapon camo for each Scion class, as well, called [class name]'s Order which cover that class's weapons and makes them look like the basic photon versions of their weapons.

No, just an exploit of an intended feature thus was disabled until fixed.
Intended features, and the use of them, don't really fall into the realm of, "exploits."

The issue wouldn't exist if they didn't make the RWB4 exchange rate so easy on the players. This isn't an unintended mechanic, just an unforseen consequence with a bandaid fix.
I'll be interested to see if they do the same to PD triggers.
They won’t, PD triggers can be bought at the badge shop as well in JP. Been that way for while now.
Does JP have a massively easy way to obtain hundreds, possibly thousands, of badges per day to turn into those triggers?
This is a fully intended mechanic. The issue is the RWB4 exchange, not farming Elder. They're bandaid fixing a consequence of the thanksgiving event, that's all.
Any bans received from this would be incredibly stupid, on their part.
