Sigh, windows updated and now the game won't run again. When I try to reopen the launcher it says "pso2launcher.exe is already running".

Also, with the way abilities are designed to have no CD's (outside class tree abilities), there's no reason to "weave" abilities together other than to generate PP. Obviously I haven't explored the PA's completely, but are there PP generating PA's?
Another hurdle is the charge time. There is that 1 particular force skill I'm interested in that reduces charge time by 60% for 20 sec. Will there be other ways to reduce charge time other than this?
In the end though, it could be that PSO2 just isn't for me. Microsoft seems to think so.
I haven't tried bouncer yet, but from my playtime (not gonna try anymore til maybe a steam release) I've come to the conclusion that unless your skill tree permits it, there is no mixing of melee/ranged with tec. Techers have the wand line of skills to increase melee damage and force has that 1 skill to "shoot" with your rod.
So it's down to hoping a class comes up that does what you want because there is generally no mixing of abilities that don't share a stat for damage.
I'm a little disappointed that with 8 yrs behind it, there will still be a difference in version for PSO2. How long can we expect the other classes to reach NA?
@zaffy2005 speaking of dark and light, is it playable to use only light and dark techs and forgo the masteries at the bottom of the skill tree? I imagine that would let me take the hard stat skills to offset not using a tec pwr heavy weapon (or would the higher level gear completely negate that - as most YTers say in their videos).
@zaffy2005 I can't really make a build right now because I don't know what techs exist out there. I found 1 that shoots a ball lightning and when it latches onto a target does damage when you hit it with lightning (so I'm thinking lightning element weapon?). Then I saw a video showing a buff that lets you heal when you attack.
If there are more techs out there like these that aren't straight up hard casts then maybe the dream lives on.
