@Lorient And it also seems like the list is never changing... Like are the people being scouted just not interested in getting into an Alliance? There’s no way everyone in the list is ignoring all of their scouts nonstop.
...So why even show them on the Alliance scouting list at the moment? And why not have a refresh option?
I’ve seen the same lists of names for a few days now, and I highly doubt they’re the only ones in the entire ship without an Alliance.
Am I doing something wrong here? Is there a way to filter out people who have 5 scouts? It’s literally impossible to find anyone.
I’m not trying to sound like I’m whining or complaining. I’m just really baffled because I love the game and I want to be able to experience it with like-minded people. But it seems like the game is gatekeeping its own social system with a poor recruitment menu.
I must say that I am pretty pleased with how she's looking. I don't know what I'd change about her (at least till more stuff comes with tickets) because I'm super happy with the look at the moment! I'm not trying to be too revealing with the outfit, it just looked so cool with everything that I had to use it.
@Manslayer490 I don’t think anyone is a conspiracy theorist for wanting to look up skill descriptions. The translation can be spotty and it will most likely be improved over time.
Hell, even in very well-translated games like FFXIV or games that are English by default (like WoW or League of Legends or whatever else) have skill tooltips that aren’t easily understandable and need to be fixed.
It’s part of making a game. Sometimes things make sense to the devs and it ends up being confusing to players. Sometimes translations don’t go smoothly and need to be ironed out.
@Quicksilven That’s only useful sometimes, since when I am fighting something large it usually has multiple targetable areas and then I find myself going for the wrong part entirely.
They just need to make innerwear visible and basewear optional. There is literally no point to innerwear having a specific appearance until basewear is optional.
Let me show off my character's undies with an open jacket, dammit!
@Miraglyth said in Open Ship 4 or PC players will leave.:
platform favouritism to divide the community.
If cosmetics divide a community, then I'm not sure if those players actually want to play the game... This argument should be about progression (if anything) and cosmetic bonuses have no impact on that.
Some players will have fluffier wings than other players for 2 months until the next fluffy wings come out. It's not a big deal!
Maplestory 2 was a sad closing. I loved that game to death.
...BUT! PSO2 came out the same day that MS2 closed, so I had a good-ass transition period.
Also, this game is in a good spot. Based on the people selling on the shops... I doubt all of them have a free 3-day pass. I think people are more than interested in having this game succeed over here.
@Macmaxi Thank you. It seems like people are so obsessed with being the best, and therefore any party member they get should be the best or damn near the best.
Just let people play the game how it is. The OG players didn't learn by being the best. And I doubt the best players now will have been the best all the time. They'll be the people that learned and cared to play how they wanted to play and learned how they wanted to learn. Clearing a boss in 10 seconds is not "the best". Clearing a boss in 60 seconds and helping those that didn't completely understand why is being the best.
It's not about numbers, it's about personal interactions and support.
You will never be the best by being fast and an asshole. You'll be the best by tolerating a reasonable clear time and being considerate.
