@Miraglyth wow thanks, dont know how I could not find this phrase..
I don't like it that PSO2 and FFXIV are compared together.
FFXIV has a great world building and the NPC's has a believable background story. Yes, Stormblood was a mess from the story point. And the combat in FFXIV is indeed boring (sometimes I rly feel asleep while a dungeon run).
I feel PSO2 feels cheap somehow (it isnt attack on that game, I love this game). The story presentation is the worst. Animation while a dialogue are weird and cringe sometimes. And the story itself is somehow not original (besides the persona past travel part, they did there a rly great job). But the gameplay is rly sick. I never had so much fun since years. You have so many option and combo variants with just only one class. And it isnt gear dependent. You can flex with your sick skills here. The actions is program and the challenge is real.
But we cannot say that FFXIV is trash compared to PSO2 or reverse. They are two different games with different goals. I play FFXIV for the story and the immersion while I play PSO2 for the action, gameplay and challenge (and if FFXIV bores me).
So I didnt understand the whole thing with the free 15* weapon. I should transfer the life steal ability. But to which weapon? Im an Hunter and playing only with a great sword. So I think I should exchange that free weapon for Atlas Farder 35+ at zig, right?
But what exactly should I do before? I never enhanced / affixed (or whatever it called) any weapon
I played the game since the steam release. But not too much and with much break. I just log in, do some daily quest, watching concerts and claiming campaign rewards. And sometimes if an urgent quest appears I do it.
Im now an hunter lvl 55 with fighter as subclass. I skilled guard and not fury. My gameplay was pretty clueless and just button bashing. I was never sure which PA I should use. I read some guides about the usefulness and combos of a PA rotation. But still wasnt sure about I because I read something about crafting PA (how do I get the mats?) which was essentially for a rotation.
And I dont know which weapon I should use for my current lvl and where I could get a better weapon. And units was even more complicated.
The game seems rly fun but it is overhelming aswell. I played many MMORPGS but this game is pretty different to me.
So I don't know how to fight good, what my goal is, where I could get better weapon and what I should with my inventory which is filled with trash. And is there a way to bind pa to keys? Like guard? I don't want to waste my action bar for guard. Instead I want just to press for example F to guard.
