RE: Sega, you are starving your playerbase.

This is a problem with most online games/MMOs, the last MMO i played was doing the same thing, FFXIV where once you "capped" on progression, there was little reason to log in outside dailies and raids (and once those were finished, you logged off until those reset)

It's not something they can easily fix, people get bored, content can only last so long, and due to how this game works. there really isn't much incentive to log in outside dailies, that is why they have these big rewards campaigns for just logging and doing UQs, because they likely know people won't stay long. I am also seeing the effects again as half my alliance stopped logging in since they got what they wanted or nothing was dropping so they lost interest.

JP version didn't escape this btw. they also went through drought periods when Limited quests were down so no one logged in outside of worthwhile EQs.

Since NGS is right around the corner, most of the focus is probably on that. so don't expect any major new content for PSO2. and since your gear won't matter by then, lots of people have realized this and also stopped.

In short, there is nothing they CAN do about it, take a break and play other games.

RE: Suggestion: Top Selling Weapons List (filter low stars)

@Kris-Nutta11 said in Suggestion: Top Selling Weapons List (filter low stars):

Top selling does not mean top quality. Many lower tier weapons have high tier augs, so therefore they are on the top-selling list

He's referring to the low star mostly NPC bought weapons that are flooding on the top lists due to idiots using RMT "services" since they can't trade it's the only way for them to exchange meseta so it's all over the market atm.

and in all honesty, it should stay, as a reminder of how much infectious and widespread meseta buying is and one of the reasons inflation is as bad as it is.

RE: Expert matchmaking,when?

As much as i would like it, i don't see it working out too well in NA version, the player base is already much smaller than the jp version and was only intended for a very small % of players to get. since in my experience most of this player base is....less than average skilled, it would be quite empty trying to find runs with expert players at a decent rate

For me personally, i just run with my alliance for UQs that have a moderate difficulty rate or need to be speed ran. and the cakewalk ones i don't have an issue resorting to random MPAs.

Also since NA complains about every little thing, you better believe there will be posts crying that they can't leech off skilled players anymore and to "take off expert!!" etc. something similar happened on jp version with a few groups.

RE: ARKS LEAUGE FISHING!!??

@Krinos said in ARKS LEAUGE FISHING!!??:

I think the saddest thing about this kind of ARKS league is that there are people who'll try to get to rank 1 by actually spending SG to refill their stamina bar, but not actually earn any SG at all in the end because they spent all their SG in the first place.

Yeah, when i saw that i instantly burst out laughing, as the only way to win is to dump SG to catch enough fish..

These league have not been anything spectacular but this may been the most pointless one so far. after i read what you had to do it was instantly ignored.

RE: Option to turn off chat bubbles PLEASE!

@Yggranya said in Option to turn off chat bubbles PLEASE!:

@Ranmaru Heh, yeah socializing. Telling someone to "drop dead" because you didn't join their party will surely encourage people to friendly banter. I mean if it ends there, then i can chuckle and move on, but sometimes they just whine throughout the entire mission. Ugh...

That's what the block list is for, when you get ass holes crying about partying, it solves that real quick, they can't make you join, so they will eventually get over it or run from the MPA. that 40% boost is very minuscule and nothing noteworthy for the disadvantages that come from people abusing party leader.

Too many try to make it seem like that boost is bigger than it actually is. When your drops aren't going to be noticed. if anything you would only use it if you desperately need a big experience boost, i also love the "why wouldn't you party?" as if people can't make their own decisions.

as for the off topic part of this..., no, they shouldn't remove the boost, they do NEED an incentive or no one would party at all. but unfortunately, it's not big enough to make a huge difference, i do think they should boost it more to make it worth it over dealing with toxic people in those parties.

RE: What to do with all these Weapon badges?

Most are used for quest trigger spam now, which i would suggest you save them for when needed, outside 5 and maybe 4 badge the shop items have very little use given the current gear we're at now. mainly because due to so many people trying to sell them all they are incredibly cheap to just buy.

RE: I have no choice but to demand Premium time compensation for Disabled Player Trade

@Wunderhaus said in I have no choice but to demand Premium time compensation for Disabled Player Trade:

I work long hours, so if it wasn't for trading I wouldn't have even half of the neat cosmetics I have thanks to being able to trade with friends. But, I guess since it doesn't affect one contentious person with a damaged frontal lobe, it must be a useless feature.

And yet an asinine response like this what someone with a "damaged frontal lobe" would make. Look up the word "minority" and if you can actually read and understand it, you'll get the point. Also Least important = useless feature, i guess. That must be some extreme damage.

ok, that's my last one, that post was just so dumb, i had to poke it. won't bother with the other one, as that one' isn't even worth correcting.

Troll threads always don't end up well.

RE: I have no choice but to demand Premium time compensation for Disabled Player Trade

@Milk Wrong. You also did what we call cherry-picking there.

You're allowed to think what you want, no one is stopping you, "several people agree with me, so it's valid" doesn't work either.

This convo is over.

In the end, since trading is the least important part of the premium (to most), don't expect them to fix it asap. maybe looking at another week, unless they are working on catching the shop RMT abusers.

Late Edit: Since the following responses after this post had serious issues with the definition yes, this is called an Opinion, regardless of your personal feelings of how strong you disagreed with it, that is what it is, these people will have to learn how to cope that not everyone will agree with them and to not attack/start arguments with them over it, as milk and a few others sadly have yet to learn this lesson.
