@ZorokiHanuke I get why you don't like, what you don't like, but censorship, only ever leads to more censorship, as evidenced by history, when nobody speaks out against it. Your values however, are something that, I believe, you should never try to apply to anything beyond real life. And that's the main issue, people lack the capacity to draw that distinction between the two, so everything gets handled in blanket controlled laws, that benefit nobody. Even in real life, your values are your own, and should never be forced on anyone, beyond general consensus, and that's a major part of what's wrong in the world now. People want to control others to the maximum degrees, going both directions, from all walks of life. Sure, share your values, and then state that those are your values, but don't expect everyone to share them, as those you don't share values with, just want to be left alone, as they aren't harming anyone, which is where most sane folk draw the line. It should only ever be an issue when a real person is harmed, and it's against their will. (I say that against their will part, as those that deal in bondage, and are consenting adults, like pain. I find it odd, but I don't judge, or condem them for it. I just avoid spending time with said people, outside of social venues.)
There's nothing wrong with your values, and nobody is saying that, but this is a game, and for better or for worse, people want the freedom of expression with their characters. They want to be able to create free of harsh judgment in a game, which is why modding Fallout and Skyrim, for instance, has such a large and diverse audience. The people that are usually against mods, claim they don't like people being able to cheat the game, when in reality they seek to control others, as they subconsciously feel they have no control in their own lives. And it's the same with the others here, that can only ever argue the same points. Your points are at least well thought out, and aren't meant to attack anyone, and you seem to understand why I carry my beliefs. It's the others here, that immediately jumped on board with you and then added what they wanted censored on top of what you wanted, that I take issue with.
Firstly, they are making my point about how some censorship, always leads to more censorship, just by making their statements. Then they further prove my point about their true intent, by constantly throwing around personal insults at people, and are then upset when people stand up for themselves, or others. Some even blatantly claim others are pedo's, or are sexually immoral, but when they are confronted by this, they deflect, and say, it was never targeting you, when in fact it was, as they broadly speaking, were speaking against anyone, and everyone against censorship. When that fails, they then resort to more insults, straw man arguments, and eventually their words devolve into almost a chant about how censorship will stay, so deal with it. They can't articulate their points as well as you can, nor be bothered to understand the point others are trying to make, and as a result, they add nothing to the conversation.
