Agreed. Many of the Episode 1 and 2 bosses might as well be normal mobs now, with how often they come up and how unthreatening they now are.

RE: Quick Dismantling

At this stage I don't support the SG banner at all. It's just not a good deal by any stretch; SG is more expensive to buy, largely earned in-game by handout or playing dead, otherwise unrewarding content, the pity system is insufficient due to being non-tradable and the banners are still limited for no good reason. The only way to win that kind of game is not to play it.

So that does leave a good amount of SG to spend on storage... well, until that runs out.

RE: Quick Dismantling

Ooh, ooh, this has been a pet peeve for a while. Lemme at it.

Selling, swapping and dismantling need some huge ass QoL. Please consider:

  • Allowing dismantling anywhere, or at least at shop terminals
  • Some kind of mass sell or mass dismantle menu at the appropriate venue, that lets us sell all items that meet criteria we set (example: sell all sub-10 star weapons/armor, dismantle all 13 star weapons). I'm aware you can highlight multiple items with the R trigger; this is more something you should be able to do en masse in a few presses.
  • An auto-swap setting for items below a certain rarity (egs: auto-swap 10 stars for EX Cubes/Photon Spheres).
  • Auto-deposit resultant materials into materials storage if necessary.
  • Allow use of casino passes, extreme passes, merit +10% and other enhancement items from storage.

RE: Please add the Xtremely Hard Explorations we are missing.

They're not strangers to altering drop tables, they could just get rid of the yellow stones entirely. But adding them to the astracite exchange would be fine too. I really just want the maps.

As for Tokyo, that creates such a weird situation where the expedition has an XH but not their ARKs quests O_o.

Please add the Xtremely Hard Explorations we are missing.

At some point in Episode 5 many fields (forest, volcano, etc) got an Xtremely Hard difficulty. In GL, we just kinda skipped over this in favor of Risk Exploration. That's nice and all, but Risk Explorations are unfortunately not in sync with the dailies and frankly, are too time consuming to solo.

Xtremely Hard is a fine middle ground that lets solos or friends join up and do dailies and actually be entertained. One shotting Super Hard enemies for basically no reward is just tedium for tedium's sake and there's no reason to force people to do that when JP had already introduced an alternative.

But... it's also supposed to be in the game so I shouldn't have to write a dissertation to justify this. Just please put them back. Thanks.

Phantom is a much better sub (practically the only viable sub now) for Summoner anyway. Sadly, most of Etoile's damage output is based on perfect attacks and... well, summoner can't do them 😞

RE: Would be nice to have a Serious Bouncer Buff

One thing that would help smooth gameplay in such a way, without a significant redesign, is to remove the animation lock on subpallette skills. Especially skills with no actual animation attached to them; I should be able to start up Fields & Photon Fever in the air while doing a weapon action or PA but I can't. I have to land, do my activations one by one, and then get back in the air. No real reason to lock them to the ground when they're just toggles.

I don't believe it being a weak or strong class should affect whether it receives QoL; you shouldn't need two subpalette bars and KB+M to play any class smoothly and optimally. This isn't a hotbar MMO, and so it should favor simplicity to keep things flowing.

I agree that Bouncer isn't a weak class, by any stretch, and IMO it doesn't need huge sweeping revamps. Just minor changes to make things smoother would make all of the difference. Take for example Photon Blades and Rapid Boost. Skills mutually exclusive to their weapon that you're encouraged to use on cooldown. If they were to be merged into one button (example, blades becomes boost when you switch to JB and the CDs remain separate as they are now) that would do a ton for Bouncer.

Little things like that go a long way.

(Though on the subject of larger changes, I wouldn't mind if they made the Jet Boots regular attack extension trigger Resta or Anti to round out its support actions).

RE: Some thoughts on current content.

I feel like Ultra Hard is exactly what this game needed. I enjoy party content a lot more than solo content and this adds so much variety to the higher difficulty party content. No longer is it like "Endless and Bewitched Woods-- except everyone is running Mother/PD triggers so good luck finding a party." And the 14-15 star spectrum seems a lot more balanced now, with many more weapons being viable between the two star ratings either as stepping stones or as cornerstones for specific builds. I think generally the game is at its best right now, and it promises to get better as Ep 6 goes on. Love this update.

Speaking of Summoner, if you need some pointers in getting things together I can help. Harmonizers aren't like other weapons so even 13 stars can be viable for different reasons. Like, Nemesis is my goto harmonizer outside of Rykros because of its PP reduction barrier (which doesn't go away when your pet takes hits for you). I'm still waiting to get a Rykros myself; need the prices to go down more and my RWB5s are all going to Novel Units.

RE: Extremely spammy autochat cut-ins!

Not to disparage your preferences but if that's excessive, then I'm not sure what you'd consider moderate or acceptable. I mean, his auto-chats barely happen unless he happens to die a lot, from the description of it. If you want total silence, you can always just turn the feature off.
