Where is the appraisal shop? What does it cost to have all these "special weapons" appraised?
Thank you! I guess I should probably take Afin with me. No other partners. And I don't seem to see any chat whatsoever (except my own and the npcs') - so it's tough to get in-game advice.
Okay; twice I have failed the mission to excavate the ore in the desert. The enemies are a breeze although they never quit coming when I'm in the drilling area. The drills light up, I hit E , the gage goes halfway up, I keep hitting E like it says, the gage goes down, time runs out, I fail the mission. I tried killing the spawns first but they never stop! Am I missing something or is it a matter of lag? This mission does lock up for a couple seconds often when things are spawning.
I've only been playing pc for a few days and I haven't even seen any chat (other than from npcs)??? I saw my own a couple times when I said hi. Is something turned off by default?? I was curious that there was absolutely no spam chat or anything - as crowded as the lobby is.

Thank You!!!! You are awesome!!!
I hear you. I think you're actually doing the right thing with grinding the basic lvl 1 Arks missions. I'm doing that too. You can buy monomates at the shop terminal pretty much anywhere. But you are totally correct with the amount of stuff and menus you hack through just to do it. I had trouble with no auto cam view like in PSU but I'm getting used to just walking forward constantly and rolling the mouse wheel. Your char will follow that. Use the lock=on [Q] too when fighting. I picked a bouncer and many boot and soaring blade attacks propel my char passed the enemies. Lock on is a must. I pretty much am not going to worry about many of the aspects until I understand the game better. (augments, client orders, bingo cards, this & that ugh!!!!) My main problem is the syrup effect. My computer was super fine for PSU but even the title lags and syrups on me : S-S-E-E-E-G-G-G-G-A-A!
If it helps, I am 50 years old, have a masters and still find this game way overwhelming also! I would think they would start you with less stuff available, better tutorials, and a more linear path (in the beginning). Because I'm old I'm a fan of the drip-feed on content and let me enjoy and learn the game. I'm afraid the e-gen and maybe even millennial gen (no offense to anyone) prefers a broader, everything available upfront & go for it now approach. I've finally reached lvl 5 but have been sticking to my gun blades because I can somewhat relate to them. I might just switch to a gunner. Good luck man.

It's not just in the lobby. My missions are total syrup. I knew I was in trouble when the title/intro music stutters.
I am sorry. This game looks like it could be awesome but it is unplayable. My pc was beyond fine for PSU - never any lag of any sort. When in a mission; my guy moves like he's in a perpetual tarpit. And the attacking -- ugh I'm sorry I picked a bouncer! He seems to skate thru the enemies often then I'm looking at nothing. Because the attacks take too long to register and a double button hit causes mayhem. Why can't the damn camera just follow where the character is looking??? Sorry again for the brief rant. But it seems like the first couple ARKS missions shouldn't take over an hour to complete. I think I'm out. Good luck all.
Thank you!
This looks like a great game. But it is very jumpy and slow loading.
