So many people wondering why they got banned for buying meseta. I'm sitting here like how are y'all this slow? It's against ToS, and it's actually a criminal offense that gets game comapnies in trouble for tax evasion. Has anyone here actually played an online game before? This is nothing new...
I mean I knew people like that had to exist out there or the websites wouldn’t even be a thing but it’s still a staggering reality. Here’s hoping we don’t have a bunch of these threads.
is not surprising some don't know what they did is against the ToS most people don't even bother to read the ToS and end up paying the price for it and even worse some even end up getting their personal info and credit card stolen because this, so being idiot in the internet can end up being pretty expensive
There’s so much bad stuff that can happen and gold spammers have been around since the first MMO’s. I’m really stunned people are still falling for this.
And if those sites get ahold of your bank info it isn’t always an easy fix. My elderly parents don’t understand when a website is bad and they’ve had their CC and bank info stolen before. It wasn’t just fixed up in a jiffy with a simple phonecall, they had no access to their money. It was a mess.
Nothing good comes from it, just freaking buy AC and support the game, you were gonna spend money anyway.
@Milk Heck. Even honest merchants get hacked nowadays and the info of their clients gets stolen through there. Happened to me when I was into car ricing (yes, RICING!). The guy who got my account details was a pervert and started buying porn with my money.... It was a mess but my bank caught on early and all purchases were cancelled.
Like man.... I just farm and do dailies... you can have fun making money, throw your wallet at ac scratch if u have to. @Anarchy-Marine on these forums lol @Milk sadly tue, ppl not reading ToS is why those sites make money

There's one thread here on general of someone who was apparently totally oblivious, but if you go to the Tech Support forum there's a few threads with a decent chunk of people in them.
Now I gotta know what car ricing is.
Sounds like a pretty cool bank, glad they caught it early. My parents have a screwy bank that froze their cards for buying gas one state over but nadda nothing when all their money was blown on shady websites in one night. I’m very cautious of what websites I visit now, Steam better not ever let me down 
@SuperND420 I found the posts. One user suspiciously wiped his forum account. That said, his defense was that he only sold scratch items through the player market, and that he did nothing wrong. Had he really done nothing wrong, he wouldn't have wiped his user account.
Yeah he’s full of it. Plenty of people sell AC scratch and even if people find it suspicious and report it, you’re not getting banned without proof.

I stay away from tech support, because I noticed a pattern of user error, so I never bother going there. That's not to say all issues are user end, but a good majority are.
@Milk Only post I'll make about this cuz not gonna derail the thread. Car ricing is pretty much like adding a bit more sugar to your coffee to make it funny. But if you add too much, you get an undrinkable mess. Car ricing is doing the same, with cars and aftermarket parts.
