I've been looking for info on this ability, but no luck. Description of that Ability says that it automatically cast Elemental Burst with PAs.

1. Do you need to have invested point into the skill for this ability to work?
2. Does it work with elemental preservation ring ? The ring does says that Elemental burst will no longer be triggered, but that would only be from the elemental cancel effect, right?

1. Yes, you need to have Elemental Burst for this weapon's potential to work.
2. Elemental Preservation does disable normal Elemental Burst, but it will still allow the Elemental Burst to trigger from this weapon's potential.
