I really like a lot of the items from the new SG Scratch but I cannot see myself spending money to purchase AC to then purchase SG. It’s sad how greedy SEGA has gotten with NA. The amount of micro-transactions in this game is really starting to push me away from playing this game no matter how much I enjoyed it while it lasted. Whoever is running NA is doing an awful job and is running their own game to the ground. Please get rid of SG Scratches. Make these SG scratch items into regular AC Scratches.

SG Scratches are actually also a part of the JP version of the game, so it is not just a Global version thing. The only major difference between the two versions, though, is that the Bonus Ticket is actually given to you after a certain number of pulls on the Global version instead of needing to recycle 40 items to get one like on the JP version.

It is entirely possible to farm the SG you need for scratch. I’m a huge matoi fan, and I’ve gotten every single item from the fallen hero scratch, except matoi pose 1. Its cost me 8000SG to do that, but except when I got impatient for my first ticket and spent $10 on SG to get it, everything else has been farmed in game

Ways of farming SG:

Putting AC scratch clothes on all your chars, it basically works out to 10 SG per char, per day, so for the 3, free chars you get that’s 30 a day.

Titles give a ton of SG, just go through the list and see what you can earn here are some of the best ones. S ranking Story missions on hardcore, getting each class to lvl 80, earning the bonus SP for each class, taking a 13* weap for each class to +35, and lookbook likes.

PvP gets you 100SG a week, and a bonus depending on where you finish each month

Casino gets you 40SG a week, for 11,700 coins, this sounds like a lot but get 4 players on mesta shooter on silver, and you can earn this in about an hour.

Running the weekly TA Runs, if you finish high enough you get SG for both solo and group times

You get 60SG a month just for logging in

You get around 40SG every PSO2 day

Theirs always random campaigns going on that give SG makes sure you meet all the requirements for those

If your premium you get 200SG a month from mission pass, and another 60SG from login stamps, and extra SG on the premium exclusive PSO2 on the 22nd.

To get a guaranteed card, you need to spend 3200 SG on the scratch. The scratch is around for 6 months, so to get enough for that ticket you need to make 123 SG/wk on average. You can do that via PVP and Casino alone, not to mention other sources of SG.

I'm a little sad about this scratch because there's a single item I want in it, but I'm not gonna spend 3200 SG to get it. I already blew 3200 SG on fallen heroes (well technically only 2400 atm, but I'll blow another 800 for the guaranteed ticket before it's over) though, so I guess it works out. But if there's legitimately a lot of items you want in this scratch, then I'd say go ahead and farm the pvp/casino SG for it at least. You won't get everything you want with 3200 SG most likely, but you'll probably get multiple items of it + then you can buy the one you want the most.

Don't get me wrong, when fallen heroes came out I was one of the doomsayers about SG on the forum, but since then they fixed the time limit and introduced more SG sources, so I'm pretty fine with it now that we're where JP is.

We're not quite where JP is, they have two mobile SG farming methods right? IDOLA and PSO2es I think, which I remember reading can generate 100 SG a week each or something. We need either those apps or, more likely something else on global that makes up for it. (Like Sg tickets in the CM Chop.) But we are headed in the right direction.

SG scratches have a way longer of duration, giving you time to farm for SG compared to AC scratches, just learn better spending and earning management skills. I only do single 1 x10 pulls for whichever SG scratch I like from SG I earn in a month or so. There is no need to blow your wallet on them that hard. Plus, you should understand gacha is a risk you partake to potentially lose it all, not a risk-free thing because you spent tons of money FOMOing on fashion.

NO SG ticket to trade for 40 SG Badge that let you get 1 item of choose (yeah, after 40 pull they gave one (just one), but on JP you save badge for "NEXT SG SCRATCH TO USE THIS TICKET") on SG exchange Shop. You win more SG on JP playing the 2 mobile games with your account linked (IDOLA e PSO2ES), (PSO2ES never happen on NA, and for IDOLA yeah there a localiztion happening, but its handled by a third party company and have % below 0 to have a link with NA). Its a SCAM ON NA.

I spend my first 1600SG on Fallen Heros and got 5 Male Outfits=discard. I will never ever create a second character and this was waste of SG. Now im using SG only for Storage and skip every new scratch.
