About the Solo Barren Blossom... Halps I've completed it once but can't repeat.

Sooooo long story short, Hunter/Fighter, 1 HP and a dream saved my ass and not only me but my buddy aswell when he solo'd it. HOW IN THE F*** are we supposed to repeat this this for union set when it's no joke HARD... tried again to solo like the 1st time and big NOPE. the 1st boss is just constantly running away so for melee builds its a nightmare.... for techers/ rangers/ casters not so bad but their so squishy for the 2nd boss. Guess we'll just slog it out and keep trying i just don't know how geared we have to be to reliably complete it. Wearing union back piece, cicary legs and arms, slave +35 sword atm 165 satk at 1895 hp atm. and its ROUGH FIGHT. guess i'll keep trying i just thought I'd ask is this normal?

Learn patterns, learn timings, learn your tools. Know when to close gaps when enemy moves, know how to precast charge PAs, know how to stay out of the way of spam attacks.

NA is, once again, way overgeared for the fight compared to how JP was, it's all a matter of skill. https://www.reddit.com/r/PSO2/comments/ilvjt8/butcher_of_light_solo_pd_in_4_minutes/

In that video you see him with arks max buffs...

@TsunamiAura Wut... Where? That quest is obviously solo, you can see the indicator near the map. Not to mention that PP and HP are low. The ARKS buff icon is a star

Soloing might require you to set up your PAs differently, as you're the only damage against the boss. I would recommend checking which of your PAs have iframes, as it can help set up other PAs when you're being hounded. Try saving some PP for the runway attack, so you can escape it with something. You definitely have the gear, so try to focus more on evasion now.

Focusing mainly on a gear standpoint, not dismissing knowledge, patterns, skill, etc., but what would yall say is the minimum gear before attempting this. Units, weapons, rings etc. I'm attempting them as I can if for the sole purpose of the lessons learned from the school of hard knocks for the knowledge, skills, etc. part! And at this point consider myself an "ok" student. ;0 ;~) And also if there are some main class/subclass that no matter how you slice it one shouldn't attempt an expect success.

It's not an answer anyone but yourself can give you, it's all about skill. Some people have S-ranked it with 1* weapons and no armor whatsoever (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umtRbIN0PUg, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z45mzgXRubo), while others (like OP of this very thread) struggle even with top-of-the-line gear. All I can say is, if you'd wanted to experience the fight's original, intended difficulty, you'd at least have to downgrade your weapon to Deo or even Red

Yeah, I kind figured that would be the answer. Well poop.

If nothing else I think Solo PD (Profound Darkness) is a true crucible. Those who can do it are categorically better than those who can't. One sure fire way to start with building an elite clan of sorts of whatever.. ;0 ;~)
