To those who played the CBT

This post is mainly to those who only got to play the closed beta test share your thoughts what did you think of it and what was your favorite moment and what did you think of it?

I thought it was amazing. Everything I had hoped for and more. My favorite moment was just playing with all my friends, figuring everything out, getting the alliance together.

It was a good test for the servers. I had fun playing with new people and helping them get used to things during the CBT. I had a lot of fun getting untranslated items and text while playing, gave me a good laugh. My favorite part was doing the UQ's with new players. It was interesting seeing some mechanics going unused or people learning weakspots.

I remember spending time wishing I had a keyboard or a mic so I could shout "THE BIG RED WEAKSPOTS!" at people.

It's a bit of a shame that locking on doesn't always stick either. Enemies that move out of range, or fly/go underground / change form, force you to un-lock your target every time they do it. So if they are using non-OTS mode with any aimed attack, then they're probably more often than not going to fail to hit a weakpoint. This usually won't be a problem though if you're using certain attacks, like environmental / placed AoEs, or Etoile.

Of course, the best way to to optimize dodging and attacking is to not lock-on, and just face the weakpoint.

@IndefinateArdem I was pointing them out while playing UQ's. Seeing people attacking the Falz arms from the front was pretty funny and reminded me of my first times playing the game. It was fun to see.

It was awesssommmmeeeee!!!! Stayed up both nights I could til it ended xD

It felt a bit overwhelming for the amount of time we had. There was a lot I couldn't try out or grasp wuite yet. Can't wait for no more time limits! Lol

Yes indeed my sleep schedule is going to be so messed up but without regret LOL

juggling client orders and figuring out what is where was a bit of a pain. The sort by client orders at the mission counter doesnt work that well either.

Looking at all the English was pretty cool since I main the PS4 version.

Best part was every lobby being full. That's never really the case on Ship 2 where i play. Really want this to succeed.

afin and koffey are the ones that really matter for a while, then you get your dalies and featured quests and work in (whatever they renamed) revelle and jean. most of the others dont matter at all (well 100k for harvesting ones are nice but i wouldnt say crucial) aside from getting your rings sorted. its alot easier when you have twice as many mission spaces from premium, without it i wouldnt really worry about the "scrap" quests unless they are specifically part of the featured quests.

Also, you can sort the actual Client Order window near the top into the various Areas. For instance, changing it from "1. Display all" to "2. Forest" will show all client orders that apply to/have components that are completed in the Forest. 😉

I liked trying to win the jackpot in the Casino with my friends. That was tons of fun.

Good to know, thank you! Any client order management tips are very helpful.

I really enjoyed the concert, even if people were posting explicit SAs. Looking forward to more PSO2 events in the future.
