The censorship on being short should be removed. Round 2

I am totally outraged by this censorship, I feel deeply offended.

I vote for the removal of the height restriction.

Based on the following things:

  • Your pixiv being full of art tagged with "loli"
  • The banner of your "Lovers Lab" (a pornographic game modding website) profile being loli pornography
  • Your history creating nude mods of underage characters in video games

It's pretty clear that you're just "deeply offended" at not being able to create loli characters and mod them to be nude, or to do the same with the cut bath scene. Honestly at this point you "people" should just start being up front with your intentions.

@Laep Right, because one person represents everyone. Also, getting rather extreme with literally background checking people, trying to dig up information on them, and so on. Also, perhaps they can be offended even then, they could also be an actual adult who is under the height limit. Short adults do exist.

As someone on the anti-censorship side, there has been a suspicious influx of similar posts recently. Like some kind of reverse SJW caricatures. On the other hand, Luna's right in that it doesn't suddenly mean that the concept of not removing content is somehow irreversably tainted and that everyone who believes in it is as well. I know there's a name for that. Someone gimme a hand here?

@AiC-L Influx of posts may be because I actually made a post informing people on the steam forums that the official channels of feedback are the official forums and support tickets, and that feedback on the steam forums won't likely amount to anything due to how there isn't likely anyone that is translating and forwarding feedback on the steam forums to Sega of Japan like there is on the official forums and support tickets. So possible that some people are coming from the steam forums to submit feedback.

@Archetype-Luna Steam forums... yeah, that sounds about right. Big community separate from the smaller one, a lot of the people bothering to come over to argue for something are going to read like a copy-pasted template or a drive-by shitpost.

I'm not sure what you're accusing me of, but I don't have any pixiv account, much less Lovers Lab. You can find me on YouTube and Twitter if you want to search for me. If you've tried googling my nickname, well there is actually a lot of stuff that doesn't belong to me, it looks like a very used nickname with many variations with capital letters. Honestly, you scare me, because you used your time to stalk people. Get a life please and don't @me anymore.

Maybe is better to change nick, just to avoid other crazy users.

Yes, I'm from the Steam forum, I had read from someone that it was better to write here. (I didn't know it was you 😊) I also informed all my friends about the censorship on this game and I shared some posts on a Discord channel

Steam forum is really a bad place:

I don't get why some people here make it sound like it's a problem if you want the height censorship to be removed if you like loli. I'm pretty sure that is the main reason why most people want it gone, and probably also the main reason why the JP version even had characters that small available.

People just want their lolis. It's just your player avatar in a game that you will play a bit.

Because they don't understand this is only a game, pure function. They believe PSO2 corresponds to reality, they have serious problems in distinguishing even a cartoon from a real person. And it is the same people who believe that violent videogames like call of duty create real potential criminals. But I don't think call of duty has ever been censored by coloring the blood blue or green and turning corpses into flowers.

@Chance Because that's likely the reason it's been removed in the first place. We don't know for sure, but it's the most likely conclusion based on the evidence.

The people that come here and refuse to be straight-forward on the matter muddy the topic as well. If they were honest and said they only cared about the content because they're (primarily) attracted to loli/shota and want to be able to be one in-game, we wouldn't have censorship being the main issue. But because it's constantly repackaged that way, it's a dishonest argument.

EDIT: Before any of the people from the other threads comment on this, I most likely have you blocked and will not be able to read what you have to say. But yes, I know, not everyone has ulterior motives here. It's just that the majority I've seen either do or defend those that do.

I'm honest with you @ApollosAmour , I want to be able to create a loli. Can you see my avatar? It's my character on JP, I just want to replicate her in this version too, but I can't because of the height restriction. If I change the height it changes the aesthetics a lot and I don't want this to happen. And yes, I'm attracted to my character, because she's too cute. 😻

@ApollosAmour I just want to be able to customize as much as Japan can.

I got my small cast there which I turned in to a race car using hand wheels and leg wheels, it's hilarious.

@Michelle There you go. If more people were honest about it, then we'd be forming solid opinions. If you use your reasoning to have the height restored, you're probably fighting a losing battle. But at least you're not pretending that your stance isn't what it is to try to sway a decision.

Why? What's wrong about having a loli character? I also play Black Desert with my Shai race, and Shai is also even more short than the minimum height on JP. I also have tons of other videogames with loli characters inside, none of them was censored. Why PSO2 Global is the only game with height restriction and loli not allowed?

And just to be clear, loli doesn't necessarily mean underage...😿

@Michelle Because it is. We don't know the exact reasoning, but like I said, problems with underage characters is the most likely conclusion. Just because one game does something one way doesn't mean that PSO2 is willing to do the same.

Now that's pretty disingenuous. You can make any character appear a certain age and not actually be that age, but "appear" is the key word here. Loli/shota is meant to represent pre-pubescent and adolescent children, typically in the 3 to 14-year-old range. It's not like super deformed/chibi which can represent a range of differently aged characters dwarfed in size. The implication with loli/shota characters that aren't the age they seem to represent is that their bodies never aged beyond a certain point, like the girl in Interview With The Vampire. Meaning that they are physically still children and the argument of them being underaged is still valid.
