So i was trying to link my accounts when i accidentally closed out of the steam versions linking part so i cant link my xbox account version to my steam version doesnt anyone have any tips?

According to the page about linking, if you don't link before the Steam version creates an ID for you, you are basically out of luck. At that point, all you can do is make a new Steam account just for PSO2. You can try sending in a Support Ticket, but I imagine you will probably get a similar response.
