@MasterDarkwingz I didn't disagree with it being over censorship, I disagreed with the notion that you can't see other people's Auxiliaries. And it pops often enough, that I see it once or twice in the few hours a day I get to play, given my power supply issues. Cooler weather is right around the corner, so I'll likely get a more accurate representation of how often it appears.

It pops up more often for me on lower level missions matching that of the Auxiliary. (Usually one of my five.)

My appears more than any other NPC does on SH explorations.

I also want to add in that PSO2 should be labeled Adult Only [Regulated Gambling] in the UK due to the Loot Box system, regardless of localized removal.

You never know how court cases will go, and EA just got fined big for how they handled FIFA.

Since Loot Boxes have been stated in the US as Mature to Adult Only content by a Casino expert in an FTC hearing, it's only natural that SEGA should adhere to the law. (Self regulation in accordance to minors- that being >18)

That being the case, attempting to censor content in PSO2 to try and bring the rating down to 17+ is only going to hurt every party involved at the end of the day. Even we as the users could be affected.

I don't think I have voiced my opinion over this matter mostly because how much of a dumpster fire this forum can be on this matter, so I'll keep it simple and say that I disagree towards censorship in general. I don't think SEGA will revert any of this so it is what it is. Also wheres our flavor text smh

I had a thought and I doubt it would have any impact whatsoever but I wanted your guy’s feedback.

1. Would removing the cm for the height slider make any difference? If you didn’t know how short that was, would it still give the same feelings of discomfort some people have?

2. If the height restrictions also applied to NPCs/aux, would that have any impact either?

Considering they changed the Auxiliary text from Master to Handler, they clearly see non-fiction in the fiction.

So removal of height restriction on Auxiliaries will only release the REEE squad who censored it in the first place.

@MasterDarkwingz Considering there are shorter NPCs right now, people would still notice the height restrictions even if Sega never added an actual height number. Now, if all of the game had to fit in with Global's height restrictions, some people wouldn't mind much, but people would still have noticed using other measures like for example, quest counters and other stage props. Instead of seeing comparisons from the character editor, we'd be seeing them on the field or on the lobby by standing characters next to counters or plants or whatever else.

So yeah, people would have noticed, and some would have still found issue with it.

You bring up a good point I hadn’t thought of, the NPCs would change but not our surroundings. Darn.

Friendly reminder that among all this censoring cause "Reasons", we now have breast implants in the form of an accessory. While personally for me the censoring doesn't bother me, I can absolutely see how it would others. Just because I'm not bothered by it doesn't mean wanting it gone is wrong. in fact I support this view.

Not to mention that coming Mu replica outfit.

@CalvinaCoulange We already have outfits that are at the level or more on skin showing compared to Mu. Like the maiden ogre ba, or one of the previous fresh finds.

@CalvinaCoulange Which brings back the question from a few pages back. Why cover up Harriet BA and cast default BA, when there are more skin showing outfits out there? That's something I feel we will never know, and look at most like an act of randomness. Also brings to wonder if there will be more of these edits in the future. These changes don't affect me, but in a game with a giant character customization bias, removing some of those options seems vexing for those who wanted certain looks, regardless of how many people are actually affected.
