Put that in your pipe and smoke it Sega! LOL

SEGA Japan does monthly reports about measures taken against RMT activities for the JP version.

Unfortunately the same doesn't seem to be happening for the NA version.

Nah SEGA doing fine, been years since I last seen RMT spam on JP. RMT spam/teleporting bots everyday thing on FFXIV - JP servers may have less spammer but you still see the farm bots.

Someone doesn't remember XIV before HW, when it became impossible to whisper people not in ARR zones, and later not on your friends list.

RMT Spamming was very much a thing in XIV for the longest of god damned times, and for the longes of times the most SE did was ban waves of them, only to have even more show up to take their place.

Bots even get into dungeon finder constantly on FF14 and it's absolutely horrible. There's pretty much no such thing as a game without bots sadly.

there's no effective way to get rid of bots even if you don't see then in FFXIV they are still there and just that info you posted there only shows that SE does a mass ban, hell even WoW still suffer with those bots.

I know the bots are annoying and there's not much to do to shut then up until a solution appears.

They both ban a good amount of bots. Issue being is that players keep buying from them so they'll keep making accounts after the original has been banned. A never ending battle.

Yeah, FF14 definitely has its share of bot issues, if you go to Limsa you'll for sure still see them spamming all the time. You just don't see them as much elsewhere anymore because SE took steps to limit their communication in other areas (not a valid tactic for PSO2, which has free accounts + everyone is in the starting lobbies), but the bots are still out there. Amdapor Keep is kind of notorious for being their dungeon stomping ground of choice, where even if you try to queue solo unsynced for it, you may not even be able to get in because all of the AK instances are filled with bots.

Yeah, on the XIV Eu servers a while back, some maps were inaccessible due to bots flooding it. It was a serious issue as it prevented players from progressing due to them needing to finish story quests in those zones.

It is a never ending battle. They do ban bots in PSO2, but they just don't announce it in NA.
