Do we have community managers?

Do we have community managers? Usually there is someone to act as a bridge between the player community and the game makers.

The GMs on here are the community managers. The issue is the developers are in Japan, so between timezones and language barriers communication doesn't happen fast.

Thanks!

Have they said anything that addresses the issues that players are concerned about? The over-monetization of SG and the differences between JP and NA? The rampant spam bots?

Perhaps I missed it, but it just seems weird that there's no communication.. Not even a generic PR "we have taken it under consideration". I'm not asking that they fix it themselves, but are the player concerns even being heard?

If you look in the suggestions section, you'll find the generic responses. For the most part, those are all that they can give as they are simply the messengers. The game devs are in Japan, so the feedback they get has to be translated and sent to Japan. There is also the timezone issue, so communication between NA and JP is likely slowed due to this.

In other words; the title is spittingly correct, I am losing faith in this game by the dam hour. PSU was NEVER this bad until YEARS down the line because they didnt want to add more areas and the casino was left in the dust too according to our JP brethren, there is no additional games at all still.

Things really need to shape up because come november im staying F2P... this is a real slap in the face to those of us who waited 8 years.

Unfortunately this is the way things go... or did we all think that publishing an MMO is just handing the source code over to a different company like SEGA of America and let them do whatever they please with it. No... even during PSU's days having SEGA of America be the 'middle-man' caused issues and since SEGA of America were the ones who were running the servers and who depended on Sonic Team to provide patch updates and such this caused all sorts of issues to the game. Plus also keep in mind, just cause SEGA of America were running the servers didn't mean they could just make changes on a whim... Sonic Team were still the ones who had to make changes to the game client and server.

The current setup... only the Community Management is what the 'middle man', ESTsoft, is tasked with... everything else critical to the game's management is being handled internally by Online R&D (PSO2's Dev team at SEGA of Japan), whether it be run the servers, provide and distribute patch updates, make changes to the game client.

Hi. Yes, we are here, and are your voices to the development team. While our responses are often short, the reports we construct from the content on these forums are not. Your feedback is heard, and actually quite a bit of it has been acted on thus far.

I mean not only has new content been announced with the Episode 4 trailer and roadmap and now the New Genesis trailer (which I am guessing wasn't up when you posted this) but an interview with Denkegi revealed the devs want to do something with the casino. Literally all of these concerns have already been publicly addressed.

Thanks! You may want to advertise this. I believe most players feel they aren't being heard at all.

I have seen nothing that addresses the SG issues, nor the spam bots.. unless I missed it?

Where in my quote of what PhantasyStar719 said mentions anything about those? I specifically cut that portion out to reply to it specifically. All I am saying is it's an apples and oranges situation.

@Gurgles

You do realize that the GM's are l literally unable to say much more than that right? The devs for the game are the Japanese developers who need the feedback we give them translated into Japanese which the GMs and support staff do. Don't shoot the messengers, they are doing the best with what they are given.
