It happened to me twice in the first few weeks, but I chalked it up to launch. But again this morning? This is a bit much folks. Is the issue even being addressed officially?

I used the Tweaker for playing the JP version a few years back, and that was fun and appreciated. However this is an official release and it shouldn't have to be modded by clients just to function.

I followed the fix that I saw a few posts down, which advised to delete the pso2 bin folder, and this worked. The launcher is now updating.

Admittedly I assumed it self deleted but I guess it didn't. For the sake of documentation I'll just say that in this situation it appeared that the bin folder caused the program to get stuck when a launcher update was trying to initiate. I could be wrong here but like I said this just for the documentation.
