SG Tickets are now official. Thoughts?

It's completely awful, what were they thinking?

2 SG scratches that were available on JP for 6 months each merged into a single scratch that is available for only 2 months, together with less methods of obtaining SG...

Changing the ticket to pick an item of the players choice from an exchange (on JP we have to trade 40 SG scratch items for the ticket) into a reward after 40 tries is just not enough to make up for the negatives.

While I half agree and half disagree with the whole "it's optional fashion" argument, many people come to these games just for that. And while yes, I giggle at the sight of those who just wanted to profit off other players by selling semi naked outfits for a ridiculous price, I also see the other side that has no money due to how the world is right now, and how this scratch not only is about untradeable items, but also about that surprising quantity of not so wanted items are in there. I mean, music tracks? really? Then add that most of the stuff needs 2 of each to make account bound, in a game that nearly requires people to have alts.

Yeah, I feel this is more a game from Sega JP to pull the plug of the game in a year and then say "See? I told you a NA release wasn't worth!"

The scratch is super bloated with tons of stuff and recolors no one asked for. Imagine getting trash like the Gemini outfits that make anyone above 150cm look fat, low EX boosts and music discs. Everyone interested in it only want the Matoi stuff and captured Xion outfit and hair, pretty much making this a riskier gamble than getting LAs or investments like the Megumin and 2B sets. Speaking of Xion, her and Xiao's outfits were art book promo codes in JP, so why are they in the SG scratch when NA has a good habit making merchandise and net cafe items obtainable through events?

You really don't have much of the JP SG farming options currently... only casino and AC scratch outfits?

PSO2es, IDOLA, Battle Arena, Buster Quests all not available for NA.

And most likely never get PSO2es and IDOLA mobile games - shame cause PSO2es also gives 100 account storage in addition easy farming of Receptor affixes

They removed casino from NA site manual quietly on how to get SG other than buying.

If it's Not going to be trade-able they should be 40 SG per ticket instead of 80.

Taking into consideration that NA has less ways of getting SG than JP, NA already has more SG sinks than JP, and that the NA SG scratch is actually 2 JP SG scratches that lasted 6 months each merged into one plus additional outfits that were bundled with an art book, I'd say that even 40 SG would be too much.

They really did it. They really removed everything from Manual that people were expecting, and want them to pay by cash.

@Zenny

Yeah these guys are prone to dramatic exaggerations.... and they always say the same thing, you can do this or that easily. When in reality almost nobody does it unless your lifeless troll or you're playing the game like a stock market instead of actually something to enjoy.

Ah well

PS this sg ticket thing just stinks.

Yeah I really can't condone this, I'll try to make sure I don't ever buy SG. I've got enough for 90 days of material storage. I'm going to use the rest I have for gathering and harvesting.

Fun Fact:

Xion Long Hair and the other one, and the bodypaints from Xion, and her glasses were all FREE from badges back on JP some years ago. Have fun rolling 80SG on the scratch for them.

I'm uninstalling and chargingback what I've spent on NA. This is the final nail in the coffin for me.

I'm not uninstalling, nor am I charging back, because I've already supported PSO2 in many ways for many years. I still enjoy it, but I will certainly not support the SG and will vocally state that so they can see that. Either way the money goes back to JP regardless. (Correct me if I am wrong)

@LapisWave I mean they ain't technically wrong.

Reading on how many people have spent their money and HOW much they basically gloated it by saying ''This was worth investing 1500 bucks in!'' just to get a few cosmetics that they really wanted.

It's basically a fault on the community and the devs.

NA is going to freaking die if this isn't remedied properly.

This SG scratch is just the calm before the storm, mark my words.

@Ranmaru A bit of the money goes to microsoft too if you buy the currency from their store.

I probably won't charge back. But I probably might spend extremely less than I did. Tbh. Sega really went too greedy on whales on this.

What's everyone's guesses how long it'll take to get the "we've taken note of your feedback and have passed it on!" response? lol. The forum hasn't blown up like this since ship 4 wasn't a thing and responses then took forever.

@Z0DIAK-BRAVE They will hop on, say we will tlak to the devs, make a pool etc.

Then just go silent.

Same with the height topic WHICH IS ONGOING BTW.

Where's my pitchfork...
